Want to challenge traffic light timings? Better get an engineering license

@RaceProUK I have a few times, to visit friends who live out in the boonies. It was a kind of horrifying experience, because with every twist and sharp hill, there was this little voice in the back of my head whispering "there's probably a kid playing right on the other side where you can't see."

And automatic transmission helps with that--one less thing to take your hands off the
wheeltrigger and yourattentionaim off the road.FTFAFY

There are lots of "back" roads around here with those little hills that you can't see over. And of course, lots of driveways. I'm always terrified that I'm going to find someone pulling out right over the next hill.
-
@boomzilla Yeah, exactly!

Go faster, then you'll be past before they can pull out.

Like the great advice for driving in bad weather: Drive faster so you'll end up driving for less time in those poor conditions.
-
@boomzilla Much less time, if you do it right.
-
@Jaloopa I really want a Caterham Seven 360. With the consumer fixings so I can take my wife out on fun Weekend drives.
-
@Captain would you build it as a kit car or buy it ready made? I sometimes think I'd enjoy building or restoring a vehicle but then I remember how thoroughly pissed off I get from something as simple as taking the battery out to charge it
-
@Jaloopa I have fantasized about putting one together, but I'd probably just buy it. Maybe in a few years. I know I won't have time to build one until I'm an old fart, so eff that.
-
@Captain the real question then becomes whether you're going to put a fake
KAR 120C
number plate on it or not...

Just charge it directly in the car.
Man, most lazy people are not lazy in the right way
