FontAwesome is a sponsored font, which makes little to no sense, but where we are.

If there was a central authority for English, they would be on sick leave with stress permanently.
A language is like a code base. If internal consistency is neglected for too long, it becomes like English.

It seems the topic titles are much more eager to hide themselves now. I've seen them appear towards the top of the topic but otherwise I can't work out how to make it show.
-
FFS, there's a rule
.header .notif-dropdown-link a { display: block; }
which is more specific than my custom#logged-in-menu .mark-all-read { display: none; }
.I just marked all notifications as read.

I'm using

The title bar that drops down when you scroll off the top of the page?
html:not([data-disable-tdwtf-css]) .header [component="navbar/title"] span.hidden+a, html:not([data-disable-tdwtf-css]) .header [component="navbar/title"] span:empty, html:not([data-disable-tdwtf-css]) .header [component="navbar/title"] span:empty+a { display: none!important; }
vs.
html:not([data-disable-tdwtf-css]) .header [component="navbar/title"] span { display: block!important; font-size: 16px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 30px; }
Or the topic title at the top of the page:
.topic h1 .topic-title { ... }
?

I know that you've seen it already, but:

Guess some people need to be reminded about kneeling warthogs?

Well, I don't know what's in the real update, but this is something new:
e: Apparently the size is 3px too big and it looks fuzzy.
It should look like this:
-
@hungrier Wait, why isn't that a conical hat, like all the best tinfoil ones?
-
@JBert It was some random one I found that I padded to 20px. I've made an updated one that I think is sufficiently pointy and the proper size for NodeBB, but no guarantee when that'll make it into the actual forum.
-
@hungrier there's a 'proper size' for nodebb?
-

Yes, and it happens to be exactly 3px larger than our
emoji
class.
-
@hungrier /shrug all of my emojis have been reasonably sized.

I don't know where else to put this but I want to see what it'll look like at approximate emoji size

Doesn't look like much. Are you sure you didn't mean ?

It looks like my "watching status" flags have been reset for entire categories.
I put the Gargage as "Ignored" in the past so that it doesn't clutter my Unread view, now it was full of posts. Was this reset intended?
-
@loopback0 Looks like emoji rollbacks
-
Yeah looks like that.
-
Where is ?
-
@_P_ I think @ben_lubar accidentally all the new emojis

Seems like an option is missing from the category watch dropdown.
-
Yeah also the font is different, font size is wrong, font spacing is weird, and layout is ed.

And a semi-holiday weekend in the US!
-
@_P_ No; one of their more -worthy moments was when an official spokesperson compared the firing of Monica Cellio to "shipping code on a Friday" in a Meta post. It got immediately picked up on by the community as an example of just how tone-deaf and out-of-touch the SE corporate entity is.

Governments and schools are usually closed here but most businesses don't take it off.

@boomzilla We've got Thanksgiving, which you guys might call "Canadian Thanksgiving" and it's a full fledged holiday long weekend

I don't know if it's a result of whatever @ben_lubar did, but suddenly I can't get /unread to show more than 20 topics, even though I have ~35 unread. Nothing more streams in when I scroll to the bottom.
Also, the notification list seems to be truncated. Recently I had been able to see 20+ notifications in the drop-down, without clicking "See all notifications", even ones I had already read; as of this afternoon, I can only see 8–10, and anything beyond that disappears if I open the topic, even if I haven't had a chance to see what post the notification is for. The /notifications page is behaving differently, too; I'm only getting 10 notifications per page, instead of the
random.randint(15, 25)
I'm accustomed to seeing.
