The site is not remembering me
-
Not sure if it's "By Design" or not, when I login with option "Remember me" in my working machine and then login on machine at home, then try to visit pages on the working machine again, it requires me to login (browser is closed between the events).
If I don't access this site at home, even if the browser is closed, I have no problem accessing the site without login again on the following day.
I'm using password login, not using an OAuth linked account.

Weird, no repro for me, I'm logged on in three devices (work PC, home PC, mobile), password auth.
Might be @ben_lubar rebooted the node instances for troubleshooting? Except, I didn't experience that today.Eh, logging in isn't too slow for me.

@Tsaukpaetra +1 NOREPRO.

Okay, logged back to my home PC and norepo too. Maybe there's other factor that the site is not remembering me.
I'll update when figured out what's the difference.
-
I don't remember you either. Maybe you're just easily forgettable.
Seriously though, can reproduce on my PC. I get logged out every now and then. I don't use it much, though. Still, this isn't fucking banking site, there could easily be no timeout.

E_REPRO
Site has remembered me for weeks but when I just tried to get on tonight (from the one and only laptop I ever use to connect to the site) it's decided I'm as memorable as Kiki Dee.

@cheong
@ben_lubar did some updates yesterday. After certain maintenance I get logged off on all devices.
I remember Ben explaining it somewhere ...

IIRC it's when he restarts redis. Redis has our (worryingly ephemeral sessions) and doesn't persist data.
