I dint relize I was appling for a speling job.

"Visual C++" and "C++" are completely different languages, of course.
Smalltalk being upside-down seems appropriate.
-
They have example APL code: http://groups.engin.umd.umich.edu/CIS/course.des/cis400/apl/hdump.html

It's not a recent website...
It's not a recently created website. Doesn't mean it isn't still in active use. We'd know from cis375.textcounter.pl, if only their IT department hadn't done something so 2000s like turning off Server Side Includes.

Oh-my-shit, I just realized the course code-- this is a 400-level course.
THIS IS A FOURTH YEAR COURSE :explode:

The University of Michigan and Michigan State are separate universities. They also happen to be quite enthusiastic rivals when it comes to sports.

U of M is a research institution that doesn't care much for undergraduate studies. Even so, I really hope that this is just a relic that nobody remembered to clean up.

I can almost 100% guarantee that is a .shtml tag running on a web server that no longer supports .shtml. (The tag would probably normally have the server print "437 times".)

Thank god it isn't.

It's noun bullshit made by a professor.

I'm guessing the website is from the 90s so that part makes sense.

I recently found one like this when I looked up some people I knew in the Philippines: My old intertubes provider. They have fossils like this (check the RESUME!!!11), "The I Like I Like Page", people how have now moved their homepage to Tripod, animated email-link GIFs and more shit like that.
Most of these use some Apache-userdir URL so if they hadn't stuck some Cloudflare proxy in front of it I'd say the server is probably some Pentium box someone forgot to turn off before retiring.

Settle down there, tiger. Go snap into a slim-jim and do some deep breathing exercises o_O

(check the RESUME!!!11),
Fuck, that reminds me...
about:config ->browser.blink_allowed -> false
And larff larff to the obfuscated links to a tracker. And the broken link to a video player-- why the fuck is there a video player on a resume?

Speaking of old/esoteric things...
Is it really a whole language if all it does is translate some code into/from a different encoding?
-
I love that they were labeled unspecified "meat" snacks :3

And to top it off, that list doesn't have PHP on it. I feel like this is a mixed blessing.

They have example APL code: http://groups.engin.umd.umich.edu/CIS/course.des/cis400/apl/hdump.html
Do you know APL? E.g., {iota} would be an actual iota symbol, and ceiling, drop and take are also individual symbols. That makes it so much more readable. This is what the keyboard looked like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APL_(codepage)

I don't know it, but I know of it, and I was aware of the weird keyboard (I think I first became aware of it via the INTERCAL manual...)
