A few days with most clients and the first law of robotics goes straight out of the window.
I just caught up with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D over the weekend. That's pretty much this season's theme. (Along with "didn't he ever watch any robot movies? the robots always rise up and kill")

I just think it's funny that four seasons in, the first two characters who mention that May is in love with Coulson are both robots (first Aida and then the Radcliffe LMD).

Expect a lot more streaming in the UK from now

@TimeBandit We used to have that in .nl. It got axed last year or so, I think after pressure from the EU.

TR is this:
The four had 245 previous offences between them.
At what point do you sit back and think "maybe rehabilitation isn't working for these people"?

You can pretty much guess the meat of the story from the headline, but there was another amusing part:
The Fresno TV station video editor planned the marriage proposal in detail, he had the ring, a hand-carved sign on the ground in his cousin's backyard and cameras to capture the big moment.
[...]
Ms Lopez never got to see the sign, which carried an embarrassing typo. It read “Merry me.”Yay planning!

And this is why @accalia's signwriting business never took off

I know all that talk about penises was probably very distracting to most of you, but seriously, nobody has commented about the fact this article was written by Nagesh? You guys disappoint me.
ETA: TIL this particular Nagesh is quite attractive.

Apparently everyone is shocked that the CIA has a massive collection of zero-day exploits and hacking tools.
The biggest intelligence agency in the US, spying on people? How completely unexpected!
-
@anonymous234 It would be pretty disappointing if they didn't.
-
@anonymous234 I think the shock is that they are probably more powerful now than the Government itself.

According to XKCD, they have found a way to combine bash and gcc to execute arbitrary code!

So do actors, singers, and book authors. Doesn't mean I will give them money.

Actually it was amusing at times to read an article that was posted "today" a year ago and then if the story seemed interesting enough to see how it developed over time and compare it to the article.
Fake edit: OK, that sentence confuses even me, but I hope you get what I mean.

@boomzilla From the article
Estala put his mouth on the chain link fence and stuck his tongue out.
If he did that in Canada, he would get stuck there
-
@boomzilla I see they used the word
affidavit
ten times. It seems they really wanted to be sure people knew there was an affidavit.

It was the easiest way to get the Flesch-Kincaid Reading Score up to a high enough level where his editor would let him publish the article.
