I'll tell you what would be significant news. Actually playing music videos on MTV.
If you remember when they actually did that you qualify for the club.
Well... we can't rewind, we've gone too far.
Kindness is always an option, unless you've snapped the tape...
Kindness is not a well-supported option on this hardware.
It's since shifted to become a software feature.

Today's PSA: If there was locational data here it would have been trivially easy.
As per Pokemon Go, I get a lot of GPS drift. They would have to go through at least 4 apartment buildings and maybe more.

But quotes are forever.
Unless they are also edited, of course.

I wonder who Tencent will buy.
My money is on Microsoft trying to nab Square next. Probably the only way they'll be able to lure in the weeb collective.

This could go in the "bad pun of the day" thread as well, but anyway:
The reason? Their "Champignons League Pizza":
Reportedly the UEFA already called off the lawyers, but they can't un-send their nasty letter.
-
@JBert nor should they. I watched such a pizza for hours and its lackluster performance quite put me off the sport, leading me to return and/or never purchase a substantial quantity of merchandise. You can't blame the ticketing companies, they're as confused as anyone.
-
@izzion And don't fire or interfere with Yoshi-P and his team. That's key.

Isn't UEFA right, though?
What do they call the soccer tournament in German? It's just "Champions League," and Germans understand that it just has an English name, right?
At the same time, "Mushroom League pizza" doesn't mean anything and is a stupid name. It's obvious that the reference is to try to tie themselves to the soccer tournament. It's not criticism. It's not commentary. It's to get some German jackass to say "I'm going to get some Champignons League pizza and eat it while I watch the Champions League match." Right?
Sorry, but you can't do that.
UEFA is supposed to be allowed to sell the rights to them saying "This is the best pizza to eat while watching the Champions League match." You can't use their name to endorse your product unless you pay them.
Separately, there's no way the Germans make pizza correctly.

Despite the fact that we may not be aware of them, angels arrive frequently and convey essential messages from God’s kingdom. We are receiving messages from our guardian angels in this manner. Angel number 1818 is one example.

23 high-impact UEFI vulnerabilities affecting multiple vendors
The Impact of the Disclosed Vulnerabilities
The majority of the vulnerabilities disclosed (CVSS score: 7.5 - 8.2 high-severity rating) lead to code execution with SMM privileges. As part of the exploit chain, these vulnerabilities can be used as the second stage to bypass security features or gain long-term persistence (like recently discovered MoonBounce). By exploiting these vulnerabilities, attackers can successfully install malware that survives operating system re-installations and allows the bypass of endpoint security solutions (EDR/AV), Secure Boot and Virtualization-Based Security isolation.
The active exploitation of all the discovered vulnerabilities can’t be detected by firmware integrity monitoring systems due to limitations of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) measurement. The remote device health attestation solutions will not detect the affected systems due to the design limitations in visibility of the firmware runtime.
Post-exploitation vulnerabilities are usually used as the second stage to deliver malicious payloads. These are the main kinds of vulnerabilities that attackers take advantage of to install both persistent and non-persistent implants after they’ve successfully exploited previous stages of an attack. A firmware implant is the final stage of a persistent implant installation. The attacker can install the implant on a variety of levels of the firmware, either as a modified legitimate module or a standalone driver.

Referer

@Gąska There are some uses for it. That's why they created the Referrer-Policy header (note the fix of the typo!). And they changed the default (recently) so that path and query string are only ever sent to the same origin.
