So how does it compare to, say, a Dodge Charger?
Higher fat percentage but fewer total calories.

@Gustav Is that measured in original British Mini Coopers, or modern German Mini Coopers?
There is a significant difference
No, no, it's talking about small barrel-makers.
It's just a brace!

I accidentally managed to swap to mph indicated on one of my motorcycles. I kinda thought it felt a bit faster than normal so I checked it and yep... Took me a while to figure out how to switch back. I didn't manage to get clocked by police tough, however, if I was, I might have been inclined to take it to court, because there was no intent to break the law. And without intent, there is no crime. Except when there is.

@Carnage I guess you could try it, but to me that sounds like you could get hit with a charge that you neglected to keep your vehicle in proper working order.

The punishment for that is an inspection.

@Carnage There are some electric bicycles which allow(ed) the user to change the regional settings.
But beyond switching from kilometers to miles, it also changes the speed limit from European 25 km/h to American 20 mph (32 km/h)...

So water is a different density over here?
Surprised no-one bothered to answer this, but, yes, yes it is. The freshwater in the British Isles is per-liter slightly denser than the freshwater in the United States, and getting denser in comparison - our water is warmer, and warming, whereas yours is colder, and cooling (soon to freeze when the current loop fails, at which point it will become rather less dense)

So what you’re saying is that it’s not an obesity epidemic but simple physics, since the largest single constituent of humans is water?

The Brits may be cooler but the average Murrican is still denser.

Ibid does not apply to the specific cohort of freshwater in the human body!

From one moron unit to the other using the SImperial factor of 12000:
The researchers calculated that the city’s structures, which include the famous Empire State Building and Chrysler Building, weigh a total of 1.68tn lbs, which is roughly equivalent to the weight of 140 million elephants.

City is sinking approximately 1-2mm each year ... the famous Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is 443.2 meters high. It might be underwater is as little as 221600 years!

How much is a Tennessee pound in kilograms?
ITYM Tunisian and dollars? Although that should be "lvs" then.
Then again, Tennessee must have used the livre for a while

TIL that "Empire State Building" is unit of volume:
The peak probably lost several hundred meters of elevation and 23 cubic kilometers of rock—a volume equivalent to that of 22,000 Empire State Buildings
