Is it wrong for me to hate myself so much that I am posting this here?
Leslie Fish - "Jack the Slob and the Goddess of Love"

Alexander James Adams - "The Devil and the Farmer's Wife"

@spectateswamp Ah, yes, collodial silver. I hear argyria is the hot new thing in fashion!
Given that I'd mentioned "Blue" by Eiffel 65 in that thread already, how about:
Blue Man Group - "Drumbone"

I'm kind of wondering what folks here will make of this. Hell, I'm not sure what I make of this, especially since I know a bit about what Fish's politics are like. Consider it a 'hello' to Gavino, should he show up here.
Leslie Fish - "Bring It Down"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He1JTUE-lLoWhile on the surface this sounds like a Libertarian/Sovereign Citizen anthem, Leslie herself is an anarcho-syndicalist with ties to the Industrial Workers of the World Party. One of her lovers, the late Mary Frohman, even has a section in the book Anarchist Voices.
No, really. And yes, they are still around. Fans call her the "Space Wobbly", and she even has a song called "Wobblies in Space".
This particular song was from her 1984 album Firestorm, which was intended in part as a blueprint for creating a left-libertarian society after a nuclear apocalypse, with songs meant to be easy to remember and containing instructions on how to make black powder, grind lenses, and culture crude antibiotic molds. She still thinks it will happen any day now.

Not sure why I was thinking this was a solo piece by Garfunkel, even if it is mostly his vocals.

If C-SPAN were like this, I'd watch.

Pansy Division - "Fem in a Black Leather Jacket"

Because a song with many famous versions except the original released version is well worth revisiting (which reminds me, I should do Leadbelly's version of "Goodnight, Irene" some time).
Ned Sublette - "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other"

-
Lead Belly (Huddie Ledbetter) - "Goodnight, Irene"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NfPdu1sl4AThere's also this, which is only part of the song, but includes some film of Lead Belly.

This song is nothing special, but the combination of the band, album and song name were too much not to post:
Song: Underwear Bomb
Album: Iron Balls of Steel
Band: Loincloth

I gotcha.

Fun song and also hot on the girlie front. Brings me back to my college days. (Yes, saw similar "fights" in person, both impromptu and planned. Good times.)

In recognition of today's announcements by Intel, and the title of the thread here on that topic:

Because mentioning Arlo Guthrie in a forum without bringing up this song is an unpardonable act.
