@Carnage But what if ... one of those dicks jerks off, and the brakes thus get lubricated?

The depravity in the minds of our denizens never ceases to please me.

Question: When you're driving to Aberdeen and see this sign, you should turn left or right?
-
@cheong Is Hongkong preparing for driving on the right side of the road? Expect more of such road signs then!

Top comment:
if a human drives poorly he gets a ticket. if an unmanned vehicle drives poorly, you have to open a ticket

I suppose, since getting enough traffic tickets will get your license revoked, the company operating the cars should have their license to operate self driving cars revoked with enough infractions and have to reapply to get the license and prove that they are indeed better now. Oh, and also, fines. Lots of fines.

I don't know. Don't they also drive on the left side in Australia, where the sign is clearly meant for?

Reminds me about a video on X (Twitter) showing BYD showcasing their auto-drive functionality in China.
When they're approaching toll stand of a road that need to be paid to drive on, the staff of BYD tell the reporter to release the steering wheel and don't step on pedal when the car is still a hundred meters far from the car ahead, and say the car will automatically stops. Then at about 10 meter the car still has no sign of slowing down. Finally the car crashed on the car ahead and stopped.

Yup, car's in Hong Kong drives on the left like in UK.
That's the reason why the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge is such a mess up in the beginning.
You see, both Hong Kong and Macau drives on the left, but Zhuhai drives on the right in China. You would think cars should have stayed on the left though out the bridge and then shift to the right through a ramp when exit on Zhuhai, right?
Instead, they built ramp on both the ends at Hong Kong and Macau to force everyone drives on the right hand side on the bridge.
This is very China.

@cheong Nice view of the seat cushion.

Waymo said their cars are much better drivers than humans
If that is true, those humans should not have driver licenses
