It finally exists!

Wow! And only 7 1/2 month after the problem was first raised over on meta.d!

I notice that @riking brought up (in the linked thread) that only other's edits of your post are shown on the Edits page. Except as @blakeyrat discovered, that's not really true, either.

So you think the Edits page will be fixed in May 2015?

I certainly hope your Time Warner service is better than it is here.
It's not actually Time Warner, the speedtest site guessed wrong. It's a new service though.

Wait...that's the new service? I assumed that was your old ISP.
-
They're working on a problem with the lines, which is why our down speed is slow, but that up speed is the highest I've ever seen and that's WITH there still being work done.
-
Oh. How about some unbaked cupcakes then?

I was just talking to a client and when he found out I was coming back from DC Monday, through a fortuitous turn of luck he will be coming back from Virginia at around the same time and he offered to drop in and pick us up. Flying commercial or private is an easy choice and flying home in a SOCATA TBM 900 is something to celebrate. Also, having awesome and helpful clients.
Bonus Discobug, it is not picking up my number pad. Yes, I checked the NumLk key and it made no difference.

i'm celebrating the fact that i am still breathing today.
I cna think of no better reason to celebrate.

Airy clouds of cotton candy for breathing!

You have a talent for finding cupcakes. Now you just need to find a way to make money off of it.
-
Today I have the... opportunity... to migrate my sites from my personal living room server to a VPS I'll be purchasing shortly.
Yay me.
-
Well, actually have something to celebrate today. I got a raise.
Still need to find time to plan and take a vacation that I'm overdue, though.

Try not to crash near Jamaica.

The image is still there, it's just 0×0.

I'm celebrating because I was attacked by a werecamel and it only killed 2 (actually 3 since one of the 2 was a mother, so now the baby won't get fed) of my dwarves!
-
Your dwarves don't have beards.
-
-
Yes they do. Even this newborn baby has a beard:
-
Just because he dreams about having a long beard doesn't mean he even has any scruff.
Your dwarves are beardless.
-
Fine, I admit it. Half of my dwarves don't have beards. Because they're women. Women don't usually grow beards. Here's the data about two other dwarves, one male and one female. One of them secretly doesn't have a beard.

I find it rather disturbing to have to look at pictures of text.

I find it rather disturbing to have to look at pictures of text.
I am more disturbed by the random-looking text colors with various degrees of readability and the sad attempt at justified text.

I find it rather disturbing to have to look at pictures of text.
Especially since we are not talking about pictures taken of printouts on a wooden table.

Filed under: For some reason I can’t stand tiny white-on-black textThere's an option in the config file to use a truetype font instead of a bitmap font for text, but I don't use it because it breaks my immersion that I'm playing a game on MS DOS.
The meaning of the colors is pretty straightforward - each one is a section. If you're specifically looking for the dwarf's age, you look at the first yellow section, for example. Here we have white for thoughts, cyan for family, blue for group memberships, yellow for age, white for physical appearance, dark green/red for physical attributes, light green for preferences, dark green/red for mental attributes, gray/cyan for civilization/personal values, yellow for dreams, white for social attributes, and finally white for the flavor text for the species.
-
If you want to play a game on MS DOS fucking play an MS DOS game.
-
Why can't I play a modern game with retro graphics?
-
Cuz text mode ain't graphics, son.
-
I'm celebrating avoiding being hit by the idiot driver who didn't check if there was anyone in the other lane before doing a lane change on the freeway.
Edit: Lets just say it's a good thing no one was behind me given that I had to slam my brakes.
-
Fonts are a kind of graphics.
-
Are you angling for a pedantic dickweed badge?
-
I am celebrating hitting the post limit on that other discourse install that we have been talking about in the likes thread.
-
I'm angling for a cupcake.

The rules are very clear in the opening post: celebrate something if you want a cupcake
-
I'm celebrating getting lunch instead of moping about the results of the "what language should we use server-side going forward" poll.
Hibiscus soda goes with hibiscus cupcakes:

Those are splendid. Makes me wish I liked cupcakes more. (I'm more of a lemon drizzle fan, or perhaps coffee-and-walnut.)

What were the choices, if I may ask?
-
Man, I hope English is on there.

Node.js, Java, Groovy, Python, C#, or remain with Coldfusion.
Node won by a landslide. Python was next, then Java.
