Discourse is a horrible disease that killed millions (?) of people. It shouldn't be seen in public for at least several decades.

Why didn't someone tell me this before?
I have been silly in every thread I participated.

And you know what? I can't decide if that's or not.

If Monty Python taught me anything, it's that humor is best when it's meaningless.

Speaking of which, I can't understand people who go to bars all the time. Where do they get the money?
I wish I was a drinker so I could quit and save a load of money. Similar with smoking, I gave up a few months ago but only spent about £20 a month so don't get the big savings that ex 20 a day smokers rave about

I don't understand the whole air of wonder and mystery behind this scaring cats with cucumbers trend. It seems extremely obvious to me that a cat would be startled to discover that an unidentified green snaky thing had silently sneaked up behind it.
-
It is amazing though, how ingrained fear of that shape is: innstinctive fear of long, cylindrical objects. Don't need a cucumber; a thick rope will do.

Did too many ancient humans rape their cats?

It doesn't seem to be just the shape, though. I've seen a whole series of gifs of cats frightened by the sudden realization that there's a banana close by. Some of them involve an empty banana peel, which isn't snakelike at all. As for other things roughly that shape, I remember my mom's cat who developed a fondness for chile rellenos.
On other botanical fronts, lots of gifs and vids of cats having a grand time with watermelons. Sometimes they play with the intact melon, others show them happily nomming away on a wedge.

This is why commas are important. Should be, "Rob, the Balloon Guy."

I'm not a native speaker, but I would consider a comma to be optional in this case. "X the Y" is a pretty common idiom and I've always seen it without a comma.
