Nearly anyone who uses "trigger" as a verb is a pathetic person.

Probably a distraction from actual atrocities or incompetence.

Yup. Also "Something must be done, and we're doing something!"
-
HMS Titanic
Point of pedantry: RMS Titanic. HMS would be a naval vessel (not necessarily UK; a few other monarchies use the designation, too).
-
RMS Titanic.
My son has been reading a lot about the Titanic this school year. When we did our raingutter regatta at Cub Scouts, he made his look like the Titanic (as close as he could, anyways). Had to look up WTF the R meant.

Discovered by a friend:
See the cursor. Let's try that one for the benefit of the readers here, shall we?

: Slovenian again? Every fucking time, Google! You can screw with my language settings based on my IP, but you can't use it to help the translator decide when the words are similar?

Nearly anyone who uses "trigger" as a verb is a pathetic person.
Please do not trigger this Claymore while I am still holding it?
-
is 'TumblrBot'?
TumblrBot is a bot, right? On the Tumblr. Hence the name "TumblrBot".

Filed under: I watched that show far too much...
-
Yeah, I never watched Tumblr when it was on, so now I don't get any of the pop-culture references to it...
-
Look at the avatars; so close!
Trust it'd be that damn fool hedgehog who screwed it up…

*gulp*
Hehe, now now, let's not get too hasty here…
*backs away slowly*
*could do with a fox to back her up*

In case you haven't noticed, it is notoriously difficult to find someone willing to cover a hedgehog's back. Because of all the pointy-thingies...
-
It's almost like I put the word "nearly" in there for a reason, and that reason was trolls.

i'm here my lady!

I would have been faster but it turns out it's crash harder to move in full plate mail than i thought it was!
(that and the whole read only thing)

Better late than never
[s]Note to self: check cyber parts when I get home[/s]

in most cases.
Sometimes late is the same as never, for at least one party involved.

full plate mail
That's only going to help you if it's adamantium. Wolverine's claws have been known to slice through steel I-beams.
-
i never did say what metal it was... :-P
(it's orihalcum/adamantium alloy)

Got it. Aim for the joints.

It's almost like I put the word "nearly" in there for a reason, and that reason was trolls.
I knew exactly why that word was there, I just decided to ignore it.
At least I didn't edit it out of the quote; that counts for something, right?

Niiiiiice.

When did Obama start accepting gay ads?

Does @abarker accept abstract constructs as customers?
-
Yes, but this one has no need for my services, it seems.
-
Are you really gonna let that stop you? ;)
-
Wait and see, pincushion.

A-ha! I might not be crazy!

Well... limited to that specific instance, of course.

(it's orihalcum/adamantium alloy)
Hrm -- I'll take tungsten-fiber-reinforced tungsten carbide composite, instead, please...
(Although cutting through three-meter-thick plates of almost any armor material is probably a bit beyond even Wolverine's claws...)

Same here. Maybe it's a font difference. This is what it looks like for me:
(Copied from Google Translate, just because it's bigger and easier to see; it looks the same in Discourse. Telugu, BTW, just because it's an interesting script.)

it seems the Discodevs didn't take that into account…
If I had some money for every time that happened, I'd have lots of moneys.

I migrated 24 posts to a new topic: On Breaking User Cards and Post Layouts

Opening any usercard
Damnit...got trolled. I opened a usercard and got the scroll up an arbitrary amount bug. I've never seen that one before, personally.
-
I think you need to refresh the thread. The post you replied to got moved, so it is possible that the user card you were trying to view got moved as well.
-
Nope, it's a bug that appears with some usercards. @tar's is one of them.
