Why is that guy so angry?
The same reason why you're always so angry.
@blakeyrat said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
Why is he sitting on a motorcycle or large scooter?
To get away faster.
@blakeyrat said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
What did he think was going to happen to the watermelon?
He thought that it would explode, but not straight up into his face.
@blakeyrat said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:
Especially since from the number of rubber bands he has it looks like he prepared this days in advance
He prepared everything except for "step 3 1/2: don't put your face right above it when it is about to explode, ya big dummy".

@polygeekery Ouch. That's only funny in the "glad that's not me" sense. If he got up there intentionally, he's a moron.
-
@benjamin-hall In the comments there's a longer version. Apparently he was trying to come down the wrong way, and when he wasn't getting much of anywhere he decided to try sliding instead.

FTFY
In my experience, those who allow themselves to be that drunk in public are (at least temporarily) morons so the statement is redundant.
Of course, I have a very very low opinion of public intoxication, so I might be biased there.

You say that as though it is an inherently bad thing.

What's your opinion on private intoxication?
Judgmental Mormons, always being buzzkills.

As long as you're not in public when you're drunk, I don't particularly care. Living in Eastern Europe left me quite hostile to being around drunk people.

I'd rather people didn't drink at all, but trying to break that habit by force (either by social opprobrium or governmental force) is a cure worse than the disease. Do what you will, just don't make me pay for the damage. Oh, and CLOSE YOUR ACCURSED TAGS

Sounds like another item for an alcoholism and addiction checklist. "Do you forget to close your accursed tags?"

I laughed when I did that because I knew it would annoy anyone who replied to it. Mwahahahahahaha!

The only inherently hypocritical word in the English language.

Oh, and you too with the Merry Christmas thing.
For all the and that happens here, this is actually the most welcoming forum I've ever participated in.

That's ... depressing. But I think you might have a point. They don't start the personal attacks here until you're a regular. Which is kind of the opposite of many help forums.

I've gotten a few personal attacks. But compared to the other forum I'm a regular on (an RPG related one), there's much less cliquishness, nasty trolling, people ignoring others' points entirely because they don't fit the zeitgeist, etc. This forum has also been the most useful place to learn new things (about lots of things, not just programming). It's my first stop when I have a "how the crap do I do this? Is it even sane to try?" question about a tech subject. Because I know that someone has either an answer or can point me in the right direction. And will, without being arch and snobbish about it.
And even in the garage, most of the trolling and counter-trolling is blatantly tongue-in-cheek. People take as well as they give (again, mostly).

@polygeekery I had seen that video, it's one of the best things in internet ever. Every second of it is gold

What's more likely:
- This is a combination of stock photos poorly photoshopped together
- A black person's hands was accidentally included in the photo
- She's wearing a really weirdly designed shirt
- The man has two left hands
- The woman's left hand is placed weirdly and is also a different skin color for some reason
