The Backup Likes Thread - Because it's not the same, now with semi(?)-mandatory likes and questions?

Or maybe going to the pub?!
No.... that can't be right.

Reviving the secondary likes thread, since the primary is in Read Only. Huzzah!

Whenever my boss says something we're building is temporary, it always ends up a permanent fixture in production.
Should I update my auto-like script?
-
Don't blame me! Blame @codlnghorror! Who may or may not be a sock/bot run by @d■■■■■■.
-
If you really want. Hopefully the banishment of t/1000 is only temporary.
-
But we should probably keep the bot auto-likers out of here so that the discodevs don't come after us for that.

Sorry, we dropped the ball on that one. OK, everypeoples! Let's get back to breaking the forums!

Only 62k posts to go! :P

Should take @obeselymorbid and @Luhmann about a week, no?
We better give them two weeks. Don't want to put too much pressure on them. :P

So, when (if) T-1000 comes back online, are we going to restore from the backup?

*points likebots at the thread*And so it begins...
-
I thought it was decided up-thread to not let them run amok in here, in order for them not to be blamed for any cooties that may occur before whatever fix is needed to allow T-1000 to be brought back to normal operation.
-
The thread's short enough at the moment that it shouldn't cause an issue
-
It's short enough to do it yourself, too.

But we should probably keep the bot auto-likers out of here so that the discodevs don't come after us for that.

that's not the point. it's about sending a message
-
Fine. The issues are because of the length of t/1000, and have little or nothing to do with bots, but whatever.
-
-
i know that. but it's not about the issues, it's about the discodevs not having the bots to blame
-
*steals @ChaosTheEternal's like script*
-
how can you steal a script?
you can't own a script! the scripts are free spirits maaaaaan
-
i think scripts are allowed. i have a bookmarklet that pushes the buttons for me
-
Every like I have in here will have been awarded manually, like in most of T-1000*.
<small.* there were a couple of hundred likes applied using a script early on, but almost all of them were manual.
-
Every like I award in here will be... Wait, did I just get suckered into liking every post? Belgium
-
...and 38 were missed by the script. Some of those were bots (shoulda emptied that array), some genuine failures.
Oh well, all caught up now.
-
i know that. but it's not about the issues, it's about the discodevs not having the bots to blame
Exactly.
