False advertising.

False advertising.
Hey, I posted that I was stopping that a while back. Not my fault some people weren't paying attention.
-
You should burninate them.
-
Isn't that Trogdor's job?
-
Not in AZ either. You get a separate water heater. Connecting it to central heating would lead to heat stroke in the summer.
Why? Sure your radiators are controlled by a thermostat so in summer central heating is just keeping the water warm for showers and such things?

It's a thing throughout the US. We largely don't have the space issues that you Euros have. So we have separate water heaters and central air furnaces. At least in newer houses.
Not sure why, might be a building code thing for all I know. Just the way it is. In fact, my water heater is in the garage, and my central air unit is in the attic.
-
Not sure why
Because a central air furnace doesn't heat water it heats air that gets blown through ducts.

Current status: Wondering if there's anyplace in the world where you wouldn't need heating and/or cooling in your home.

There is, and that's where I live.
-
I'm a bit jealous. Where I live, it gets down to -10 in winter, and up to about 105 in summer.
-
-10°C in winter, and up to about 105°C in summer.
I bet you need more cooling then heating then.

That somehow sounds as if you would heat your rooms with hot air??

Ok, that answers the question I've jast asked abarker...

Fahrenheit is very convenient for weather. 0 - 100 pretty much covers anything you'd need.

+1
Fahrenheit is for humans, Kelvin is for science, Celsius is for psychotics.
-
I did say "pretty much".
-
How does that not require cooling?

Yeah, had been my first thought as well :-)

Celsius is Kelvin shifted so you don't have to fuck with three digit numbers. If that's psychotic, well, bring on the happy pills!
Fuck it, bring them on anyway. Who's got the booze?

So it's more readable? Like Fahrenheit is?

90 for a high. That is miserable.
We have very comfortable humidity and an ocean breeze, so it's one of the nicest 90s that you'll find in the world. That said, it's not normally this hot here. The forecast is usually mid-70s, at least 90% of the year.

Researching if tech supporting people at my company are simply meat popsicles.
Confirmed.
"How do I access serverx?"

Fair enough, but some of us prefer to have seasons.

A lot of people move away from here for that reason. Although the reason that most people move away from here are the housing prices.

In the winter, when it gets down to 30F, yes.

Fahrenheit is very convenient for weather. 0 - 100 pretty much covers anything you'd need.
Yeah, I need a scale of 30 to 120 F.

- The tropics.
- The arctic.
- The anarctic
Most would say that you need one of the two in those places.

Why the hell not? Meet you in Netherlands, not really half-way but we can add on some other legal substances to the booze there.

other legal substances
Not legal, they require you to be a Dutch citizen to acquire those legally.

Jeg er en nederlandsk!
Do you think they'll buy it?
