I never would have guessed that in your mid thirties you can be so old and so out of touch with the younger generation. This is all Greek to me, I've read more understandable Markov bots.
Just assume every word you don't recognize is a person's name, and that OG and EG are team names and TI is a tournament name. Aegis means shield.

@anonymous234 that's only backwards for the C compiler. Just put some forward declarations in in that case.
Or use Rust, where such linearity isn't required.

Status: My English professor has now confused The Office and Office Space. As far as I'm concerned this means war.
Edit: When a student mentioned Office Space, she corrected them to say it was The Office. Literally shaking right now

Oooh I didn't one we had any PCB monkeys here.
Any way I could bribe you to look at Eagle files for assorted personal projects before I send them off to China?
Not for "this shit ain't gonna work" but for "Why did you route those traces like a moron?"
Mostly through hole because I'm hand soldering. Mostly 2 layer. Mostly automotive applications. This stupid car should probably have a 5v power bus.

That's got to be the dumbest names since the advent of rap music.

Interesting. We here in the West US region frequently experience weird network switching issues (though the service dashboard is always green) but completely down? Well that's fun.

Put it in the cloud, they said. It will be more reliable

Today's workday consisted of building a hack that uses undocumented features to work around a stupid pointless limitation of a certain API we're using (namely, generating and loading a configuration file that gets the system to do what it refuses to do directly).
You might hate me for this but I'm pretty proud of it.

And done. That was about 10 hours total. All manufacturing DRC checks done too.
It shrank in the wash, only 48x62mm now. Any smaller and I'd have had to start compromising the layout for the CUK switching regulator that's taking up the bottom left.
Plane layers have been turned off for the pic as they're just boring copper floods:

Amazon Music seems to have an option to delete music you bought. I really want to know if it really deletes access to your purchase but I don't want to actually try it.

The quality of a development environment is inversely proportional to how many concepts you have to learn before you can start using it.
"You see, you organize the functions into Rectangles, then you connect the rectangles with plugs using a simple json file, and you connect one of the plugs to the GroBazingjs compilation service, which will serialize the Rectangles and store them into Infinicubes, and then you can autodeploy the Infinicubes into your Gamma provider with a simple shell script, and that's where you'll see the results!"
-
@anonymous234 Steam has that option, they added it a few months ago.
-
Apparently you can trade items to a Steam account you registered in the Netherlands, and find out what item you'd get when you open a box before you actually open it. (e.g. GS:GO or TF2 Crates, Dota 2 treasures) You can then trade the item back and put it on the market. If you don't see the item you want, you can trade it to another account, which will do another random pull and display it to you. Repeat ad nauseam.

At least it was a short meeting. My only involvement was to acknowledge that, yes, I updated the docs to describe where to find the stuff in the git repo.

So when I was rebooting one of my VMs, I got the option to "Update and Reboot". Sure, why not.
Then this happened for 45m.
I was assured this behavior was exclusive to Windows and never happens on Linux. Also, if you use the word "whilst", the probability that you are a tool is 1.
Finally, the VM reboots and I get:
Oh, MOTHER FUCK.
-
Bonus post:
Rude. Fat shaming thread is .
-
@heterodox I like how it cuts off the end of a bunch of lines for no reason so a lot of stuff is either "runnin" or "runnin fo".
And yes, people who say "whilst" need to be kicked in the balls repeatedly.

What's wrong with whilst? It's pretty common.
Edit: Now, saying 'indubitably', that would make you sound like a tool :)

Also upon booting, I'm happy to find the update overwrote some of my config files for xrdp. Oh wait, that's not happiness I feel.
Edit: No, actually none of the config files were overwritten, it just doesn't seem to work anymore. Cool.
Neither
grub-install
norupdate-grub
seem to eliminate the prompt starting up, so I guess I'm doingconfigfile (hd0,gpt2)/boot/grub/grub.cfg
until I figure out what the correct incantation is.Joy.
