The title is

, which used to be processed by the translator.

Also, there's more bugs; when trying to quote the message (which had either been loaded initially or streamed in — I know not which) to generate the above, I got a substitution of the
global:404.message
part. Doing aView Raw
and back fixed it (i.e., I can't reproduce it any more) but it still indicates lurking trouble.

3 hours of playing the last (or second to last, depending on how you count it) stage of Ecco the Dolphin today. Didn't reach the end, no matter how much I tried.Time to put this game back on the shelf and forget about it for a while (a week at least).
-
@dkf it wasn't that fun... the template created a link, and the link contained the javascript. It didn't work until you clicked the link.
The bug still works in notifications, so theoretically we could show you if you want... just go find the thread, post and request someone give you a notification, and click the link in it...

Soooo ... sometimes IE 'forgets' to apply URL encoding to links in SharePoint and then barfs on them, the same link in other locations in IE works ... AAAAAH

Using a member variable as a functor, apparently; it's already initialized. Whoops.

You're not wrong.
ETA: But at least I'm not using C. I got halfway through writing a hash map implementation before I realized that the parameters for this project were "will compile on <target system>" which includes C++.

@PleegWat but that's not a complete game? Shouldn't you have one more in the top right. Either 2 or 4 spawning works

The idea of a boob breathing is mildly horrifying.

@anonymous234 one of my wife's t-shirts has a picture of kittens on it, and one of the kittens has its head positioned precisely on one of her boobs. I like to boop its nose...

@anotherusername said in The Official Status Thread:

Kitten heads are a lot smaller than boobs, so it's weird that you would call that "precise".

Depends on the boobs. And the scale at which the kitten is rendered.

Usually depends are worn lower on the body.

Gave up trying to find out how to make my wireless work and told the laptop to format itself.
EDIT: Which didn't help, so it's probably a hardware issue. Either way, getting a proper imaged USB thing this time to see if that works...

I wish there were a way in C++ to cast an object of a base "stuff" type to a derived type that doesn't contain any data of its own but just has special methods to interpret the "stuff".

<clippy>Are you looking for the decorator pattern?</clippy>
-
The new version of the Win10 installer is kind of fun.
And yeah, looks like I don't have the ability to connect to my own wifi from my laptop anymore. Fun.
-
@asdf said in The Official Status Thread:
<clippy>Are you looking for the decorator pattern?</clippy>
Hmmm. It looks like it, yes. I might do it that way after I've verified the code actually works. The way I have it working right now requires that the data get copied from the base "stuff" to the derived "stuff", but it also means I can represent the interpretation as (Derived) base instead of base(Derived), which looks better to me.
We'll see if that copying becomes an issue.

@Magus Turns out it just doesn't work on MY network. It also doesn't list my 5ghz band.

I was referring mainly to the location of the thing at the center of its little kitten face.
Also, it depends on the size of the kitten. But I can't really remember whether it's the same size or not; the picture might be slightly larger-than-life-size anyway.

Status: I am unable to write formal evaluation materials without sounding cheap, trite, and hackneyed. Also, my desktop speakers are occasionally outputting sound from the wrong area (trying to stuff all the sound through the subwoofer, the left or right speaker dropping out, all of them muted at times, etc). This is annoying.
