Status: Someone moved my laptop, which ended up unplugging it. That explains why I couldn't access it at all today, yet my alerts claimed the house internet was fine...
Also, apparently I somehow set the computer to never sleep ever, so the poor bitch just happily idled until it died, no emergency hibernate here!

Microsoft is just protecting you from doing something potentially harmful to your system. After all, OneNote is integral to the operation of Windows, amirite?

But it makes the panel containing it flap in response to the click! That's not nothing. Merely nothing useful.

The button isn't doing that. The panel still flaps even if I click somewhere else.

@Weng said in The Official Status Thread:
So my retirement planning tool recently grew an "ignore social security" checkbox. Which I have duly checked, because there ain't no way that's still paying out in 40 years.
In order to meet my retirement goals, I need to invest the maximum allowed by law into my 401k, funnel it all to the self managed brokerage and be a world class investor. And maintain that to age 70.
If I back down my goals to the "industry standard" I can merely be a good investor, rather than world class.
I'm not even thirty. How can this be so hard?
I've decided to died at retirement at this stage. I can invest the retirement money into cake and enjoy that instead.

I had to take my car in for fixing so it was a bit of a walk to work from the garage. It's also raining. Turns out the container of pineapple for lunch decided to rub against my man bag and leak everywhere including all over my side.

I branch frequently for experiments but I work from home and in the office so its easier to have everything in the remote repository. I also like to keep the temporary branches until the feature is finished should I need something from a failed experiment. My tree tends to get very cluttered.

Ah. A private repo would let you cut down without cutting down.

Ideally but the team likes the messages so I'm stuck in the open. I also suspect no one knows how to do that.

Status: So last night in that Digimon game from yesterday's wall of text, I went up stairs in the main area to this challenge thing I'd done a couple times. I figured they all gave me massive XP, and I'd managed to beat bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, but it was too early for that to be all of them...
So I started the Legendary challenge. I won two or three fights, then went to bed. This morning on the train, I continued, and won a few more fights over 45 minutes (No breaks, all the fights are back-to-back). But I had to stop because I got to work. All of these fights are seriously hard. I think I've done sufficient grinding to be exactly strong enough to scrape through, but that's kind of more fun IMO.
Still trying to achieve:
- Imperialdramon
- Omnimon
- BanchoLeomon

@ben_lubar Today Ben learned that, ever since Windows 7, to deal with people who want to install optional components but have lost their CDs, that when you install Windows, everything is installed, and some things are merely disabled.
