23 what?
Every day I spend on this forum, I become more convinced that you are functionally retarded.
-
Oh my god why.
-
That was pretty much my reaction too
-
I... the... ehm... I watched a review of a thing where something like this happened. No boobs on the car but there were girls turning into cars, which was apparently some kind of metaphor for... I don't know, even the review was too much, brain executed emergency shutdown.
Yes, Japan.
I can look up what it was called, but I really don't want to.
-
Turbo Teen.
-
Thanks. I'll now replace all memories of... that thing, whatever it was called, with this. Should help my mental health.
No, it wasn't Turbo Teen, it was something pretentious as all hell. An "art film", if you like.

Status: So apparently when @apapadimoulis rebuilt the container to fix the mail we got latest code including circular avatars.......
..... i should be annoyed about the avatars but....
WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK?!
HOW DOES CHANGING EMAIL CONFIGURATION REQUIRE A SOFTWARE UPDATE?!
-
Status: CIRCLES. CIRLES EVERYWHERE!
-
(am i the only person that thinks that might make a cool avatar?
hmm.... loses a bit when you shrink it....
-
Status: Wishing that Team Discourse could spend even 10% of the energy which goes into superficial changes on actually fixing quoting, the preview and the other numerous and various annoyances which pervade this confounded software...
-
They won't, because that's not "fun", while superficial changes are.
Also, since first post after an update, the jumping up thread when trying to show certain user cards bug still exists. It also is not "fun" to fix.
-
I have a fix for Chrome at least: install Stylish, and add this CSS:
img { border-radius: 0px; } img.avatar { border-radius: 0px; }
-
A fine example to all the others, I'm sure.
I encourage them to follow in his footsteps. I also encourage Ben not to tell us of their adventures.
-
we got latest code including circular avatars
Which look especially wonderful when one's avatar was formerly rectangular, rather than square. FAIL Why the FUCK is this not even optional, because one stupid fuckhead on meta.d wanted it?
I didn't think my opinion of the CDCK devs could get any lower. I was wrong.
-
Holy shit my avatar looks even shittier than usual
-
Why the FUCK is this not even optional, because one stupid fuckhead on meta.d wanted it?
Because the fuckhead in question was the Holy Jeff, Prophet of TCotCDCK.
And he would claim it is optional as you can undo it via CSS. Not that I think that should count.
-
Holy shit my avatar looks even shittier than usual
I think that definitively resolves the issue of whether or not your avatar is a valid QR code.
-
I posted my "fix" on meta.d.

Status: Trying to play Minecraft on Xbox One, where it's developed a weird fault—the screen goes dark all of a sudden then the console hangs. If you try to save game after this, it goes though the motions, but doesn't actually save anything. Second time it's happened this evening and I'm a bit bored of it already...

I suggested 5% rounded corners.
Suggestion was ignored

Yes, Japan.
I can look up what it was called, but I really don't want to.
Reminds me of a short film I watched (also Japanese) where a woman turns into a chair.
-
I use it in my theme, but willing to bet people here would totally freak out if confronted with it
-
Well, the full-round has gone down as well as putrid vomit, so…
I'm actually running 10% now via Stylish; 5% wasn't really visible.
-

Maybe, I don't know, ask first before applying wildly different new CSS to the site?
-
To be fair he didn't apply it.
Alex did when he fixed the email.
-
Somebody put that change into upstream without also putting it behind a configuration switch...
I'm trying to understand the chain of evens in which fixing the email causes all the avatars to change shape. It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me.
Surely it is, at least in theory, possible to apply an update to the site code, without the CSS going haywire? Because, that seems like it would be something that would be possible?
Or, why are changes to meta.d's local stylesheet being pushed downstream anyway? We're just changing the default look and feel of the product as and when we feel like it now?
-
Well as i understand it...
Changing the email conduit requires a container rebuild.
Rebuilding the container fetches latest, regardless of normal upgrade channel....

Two sentences in.
levels already critical.
Abort reading! Abort reading!

There is only one typo there!

They won't, because that's not "fun", while superficial changes are.
As I posted in the round avatar poll, my theory is now that their stupid development practices and incompetent coders have increased the technical debt to the point where they are literally incapable of making actual fixes.
-
Wait wait wait.
Their channel system is basically broken, too?!

Such quality.
So fail.
Hahah wow.

Their channel system is basically broken, too?!
Well...
The good: It actually manages to successfully update stuff automatically without user input
The bad: It actually manages to successfully update stuff automatically without user input

Status: literally every other post I've made today has some kind of formatting error in it.

REI has a strange definition of "near":
Well, at least I know that Anchorage has it in stock. If I leave now and drive without sleeping, I might be able to make it there some time Monday...
-
Maybe by "near" they mean "on the same continental landmass"?

That video was pretty old. More ridiculously over the top than anything too bad, but yeah I wouldn't actually watch it at work.

They've gone to bed already BTW; I'm the only one up ;)
