Status: Hurt my side at some point and it's taking a while to heal up. It's a real pain when standing up or twisting in certain ways. :(

Status: Monday after a week off work. Not only me being all groggy, needed to give my microwave some percussive maintenance before it would cook my breakfast for me. Still working from home and I noticed at 8:00 the sun will shine straight into my computer room now. Fun-fun... At least I got blinds if needed.

225h (). Although that's because after the first 20h (of just mucking about in the tutorial chapter) I settled for turn-based and didn't look back.
It's still too vast for its own good, though. I'm glad I only picked it up now that they've fixed most of the annoyances. I remember that for v1.x changelogs were pages long, full with Bethesda logic fixes...
I still dislike the ruleset and the exceedingly random rolls (esp. Perception where by definition you don't even know you rolled low). It's the world and its characters that kept me going. And I especially love the two tiefling girls... murrrr...

Time-wise it sounds about right, I think. I know a lot of folks wanted turn-based; I don't mind doing pause-go-pause as needed. Maybe there's too much Baldur's Gate in me. :)
It's still too vast for its own good, though. I'm glad I only picked it up now that they've fixed most of the annoyances. I remember that for v1.x changelogs were pages long, full with Bethesda logic fixes...
If it's any consolation the tabletop version is about the same, but without much of an overarching story. You have to have read all six adventures, come up with how you want to integrate what happens in Chapter 6, and then sprinkle things into the other Chapters. It is indeed a sandbox. So far I like what they've done story-wise.
I still dislike the ruleset and the exceedingly random rolls (esp. Perception where by definition you don't even know you rolled low).
Well, that's Pathfinder (and, by extension, D&D 3.x) for you. Every RPG system has some places you just have to accept (or house rule) and have fun despite them.
It's the world and its characters that kept me going. And I especially love the two tiefling girls... murrrr...
I haven't met them again yet, but I did get the DLCs so they should be there when I reach them. :)

I think hidden item or door checks should have been passive. In all remaining cases I was just one item away from getting the whole set of old rags or something for Storyteller's Kinder Surprise collections.

Status: Day 20 of not having wired internet. Apparently the technicians are too scared of coronavirus to move the service to my new house.
Also status: I'm running out of mobile internet. I can get 3GB more for 6zł on the same account (repeatable offer). Or I can buy a starter pack for 5zł and get a brand new account with 15GB valid for 14 days, but the phone number is valid for 12 months. I wonder how many phone numbers I'll end up with by the end of epidemic.

Status: I've just confirmed with customer service that yes, indeed you can buy a couple dozen starter packs at once and register them all to one person (we have legally mandated SIM card registration - they write down your name and national ID card number) and it will all work and each starter gets 15GB no problem. No wonder they were sold out at the first shop I went to.

Yes. 2-bedroom townhouse (1400 sq ft) near Tampa, FL. Only $168,000! Great view of the water! Gated neighborhood! I'd post a Zillow link, but that would be super ultra self-doxxing.
That’s out of my price range. But I guess you do buy houses on credit, not cash, so it actually isn’t.

(Also, contrast this with ordering online from IKEA. Two items I could have gotten from my local store in maybe an hour, if they were open. But they have to be shipped from a warehouse in PA, with an estimated delivery schedule of 2 1/2 weeks. Now past 3 1/2 weeks, and they're still not here. (FedEx says they'll be here tomorrow; last I checked, they were somewhere in AR.) It took 3 weeks just for somebody to pull them out of the warehouse.)
No, they had to put the box together.

Thank God, no. It did come with a massaging lumbar cushion (USB-powered) that I threw back in the box along with the arms I didn't attach to it.
Every once in a while I think about buying a new mechanical keyboard and if I get one I know the first thing I'm going to do is figure out how to disable whatever horrible light-up crap comes on by default.

Cleric Initiative is an integral part of the game system and a time-honored tradition! You can't take that out! :)

Don't know what to say about that. I had some trap finding problems in Koboldville, but I ended up backing up to before I first got there and was fine. You do need to have a couple characters max out Perception, but I knew that from playing tabletop Pathfinder.

I have a Corsair one, and if you don't install the software for the blinkenlights, they don't turn on.
I have plenty of fun annoying others in the office landscapes with it, as it's set to a flowing rainbow, with lots of colored ring reactions on button presses, so it looks like a disco party from hell when I'm typing on it.
At home, I don't have it lit though.

Tenebrous Depths checks are downright unfair. Without two feats + constant buffs I don't think the true ending is viable. As a stat it just seems less useful than in some other systems. And yet those terrible bosses taught me far more about mechanics than anything else.
Nevertheless... I (almost) had that, but then... great job pulling the rug under me with that twist near the end, Owlcats. Mad props. Someone had to.
