Of course, everything in the site is 8pt Arial, too, so good luck if you're not 20.
I'm 30Can I use a magnifying glass?
Yes, you may.
-
The latter, but really I'd suggest some sort of fixed mounting point the cable plugs in to.
-
That makes sense. I wouldn't have thought about that.
-
Bad idea: Whatever the fuck this guy's client was doing:
Hi there,
Hope you are well.
I wanted to check with you on a CSS thingy: I was convinced that this would render three differently coloured texts, but it doesn’t [they’re all blue] and I can’t find any explanation online:
.column { color: red; } .column.column { color: green; } .column.column.column { color: blue; }
Demo: jsfiddle.net/otk9661u.
Why does it do that?
-
For the record, the HTML being used is:
<div class="column">one</div> <div class="column column">two</div> <div class="column column column">three</div>
In case anyone else is wondering, the rule applied is the last one not because it is last but because referring to the same class multiple times does increase the rule's specificity. Changing the order of the rules has no effect.

Image links to money.cnn.com article about pizza hut new crust thingy. Generally a bad idea, but I could see it working for get together to watch some big sportsball event.
-
This is the wrong thread. That image is of the greatest thing ever imagined.
-
Agreed; that pizza looks awesome
-
The salty pretzel hot dog things look awesome. I'm guessing the other one is some kind of garlicky thing. Gimme the salt!
-
Agreed, the back one any day.

Pizza hut is generally shitty IMO. But point taken

Pizza hut is generally shitty IMO.
We are obviously looking for very different things in pizza. I mean...I've had better, and sometimes I want one style or another. But I don't think I would describe pizza hut at all like that.
-
We are obviously looking for very different things in pizza.
Apparently, though I'd put them about the same place in ranking as Little Sleasers, Dominos, or other basic pizza places.

Putting hot dogs into any kind of food belongs in this thread.
-
Why can't they just package the hot dogs (pigs in a blanket?) separately?
The whole baked-into-the-crust thing was always stupid.
Taken to its logical conclusion...
-

In the states maybe. Asking for pigs in blankets in the UK would get you bacon wrapped sausages:

Around these parts that would be "Sonoran-style hot dogs" (or "estilo sonora").
Served on a bolillo roll.
-
Is there anything that isn't better with bacon? <yes, but even so…>
-
-
Halal Chicken Tikka Masala?
-
Anything halal is made better with bacon, for the simple reason that it is no longer halal
-
Same thing applies to vegan food!

Have you tried it with?

The only thing better would be a bacon wrapped sausage in a blanket! Wait, this is the wrong thread!

3 days left until I can claim my good luck!
May the designer of this have to use it via Milwaukee PC…
You know, there is such a thing as cruel and unusual punishment.
-
And when I tried to explain what an American pig-in-blanket was to my british friends, they got even more confused because I said it was wrapped in biscuit dough.
-
My dad showed me something he found on one of his dental Facebook groups. It was philosoraptor with a white line drawn between his talons in MS Paint and the caption "flossoraptor".
-
Once had a British friend describe his interpretation of "sausage and biscuits in gravy", with none of the three major words representing what he understood by them (he even tried to meet us halfway by assuming "American sausage", which meant his image of the dish involved Oscar Meyer hot dogs.)

Otherwise known as "everyday life" for people in Milwaukee.

one of his dental Facebook groups
I'm going to take the easy route and assume he's a dentist.
-
the easy route
the easy route would have been to just ignore it. I was going down that path.

You're lucky he didn't start talking about faggots.
-
Strangely that article references Frikandel.
-
I think meatball would be most similar of those mentioned. Also, hadn't read the last section of the article:
In 2004, a radio commercial for the UK supermarket chain Somerfield, in which an American man rejects his wife's suggested dinner saying "I've got nothing against faggots, I just don't fancy them" was found to have breached the Advertising and Sponsorship Code and was banned

Imagine that with other food.
-
Well, since the first hit for SPD at acronymfinder.com is "Sensory Processing Disorder", I'm inclined to let it stand as written.
-
Mmmm, Currywurst. I miss living in Germany, great food. I did find recently that M&S sells Bratwurst that actually tastes like I remember it, so that's something.
-
Someone dropped ketchup and mayo on that...
-
-
A deep fried sausage ?
Looks yummy.

-
Can we keep the food out of the bad ideas thread? It should go in the good ideas thread if anything.
-
you mean trying to make/eat this is a good idea?
