How can anyone be this stupid?

I've had huntsmen in the house
I've not a seen a single dangerous animal
Spider != dangerous?
ERR_DOES_NOT_COMPUTEThey're not really that dangerous.

That is a classic example of an exposure problem. Even thought the absolute number may be lower, can you vouch for the proportion of?
And the only way that is true is if the proportion of dangerous humans is greater than 1, as there is no such thing as a non-dangerous spider

there is no such thing as a non-dangerous spider
To you or to that FUCKING FLY, STOP BUZZING!
?
-
They may have their uses, but that doesn't mean I like them
-
Funny. I feel the same about humans...

My definition of "dangerous" is highly subjective

You mean like "dangerous to the cleanliness of your pants"?

Among other things

Apparently, according to this guy, there's no such thing as a deadly spider: http://www.burkemuseum.org/spidermyth/myths/tarantula.html#deadly
-
This woman clearly proved him wrong. The situation could very well have proved fatal
EDIT: I also like his reasoning:
a decided rarity worldwide
So basically, if it doesn't happen often enough, it doesn't happen at all
-
How many people die each year of rabbit bites? Are rabbits deadly?
-

True. Her reaction might have been marginally justifiable if, for example, she lived in Australia, or she knew that there were black widow spiders in her home that she couldn't get rid of.
Marginally.

Yes. Very.

Wow. That guy's clearly an unusual degree of arachnophile.
He probably has a large plush spider next to his bed for... you know what.
On the one page, he argues that people shouldn't kill spiders in their home or place them outside as they are indoor spiders that are adapted to live indoors. And they have a right to be there as they predate humans. And are also adapted to living in modern human structures. And some spiders are good for killing roaches. I guess he doesn't have the same regard for roaches, which also predate humans and also are only able to survive in northern climates because of central heating.

they predate humans
predate verb said of an animal: 1 to eat or prey upon (another animal). 2 intrans to hunt prey.
I thought he said there was no such thing as a deadly spider ;)
-
Maybe he meant predate...
: to exist or happen at an earlier time than (something or someone)
-
So spiders existed before humans? I can believe that. So can the fossil record.

Are you sure about that one. After all we know that gravity didn't exist until Newton invented it. Imagine the monster it took to invent spiders.

You're saying some moron invented spiders? Who? His name must live in infamy forever. couldn't he have invented something good, like gravity?
