why, exactly, is the forum so outdated and so broken?
I believe tThe answer issomewhat on the lines "because discourse suck balls filled with bugs andwe gave up updating it sinceit just doesn't work"... But is this all?ATFY

yeah, that's what humans get from wanting to be ghandi.
Ghandi? Is that the illegitimate child of Gandhi and Chandi (aka Kali)? I guess vows of celibacy don't apply if you are getting fucked by religion... as I know intimately.
Eris: Quit complaining and get back in bed, I've got a new strap-on to try out!
/me: Yes, M'lady... sigh
-
no clue about Chandi or the straps-on religion you talkin', but me likes it! :)
too much makeup, though.

But other stuff is just them doing things that don't scale.
This seems like the biggest pitfall open source projects tend to fall into. They don't think about scale until they are too tied to an architecture that doesn't. I am looking at you Mondrain!

Open source Audacity can't even run on more than one CPU. So literally everything it does takes 8 times longer than it should. Because incompetent open source developers.

Why would you need more than one core? You're only going to listen to one song at a time.

Not sure the relevance to the topic, but glad I finally know where Morbs got his name.

I wonder if you should add a bit of guidance about what lines are not allowed to be crossed.
For example:
Personal insults fine, racism not.
Shouldn't we define racism first?

First you have to define "race".
Religion. Religion should definitely play a part in defining someone's race...

I would think that distance is most important. I've always preferred sprints to long distance.

Does the shield in that diagram say "BOB BONERS SWINE"? The writing is very faint, but I think it says "BOB BONERS SWINE".
-
BOB BONERS SWINE
looks more like
SWISS 608 BONES©
to me...although now that you mention it i can see where you got yours from as well...
the angle on that is terrible for seeing the writing
-
SWISS BOB BONES
I think.
-
Hey, show Swiss Bob some respect!
