Doubling in Groups
-
I've seen some discussion about this elsewhere, but everyone else has been able to get rid of this with a refresh. This is not going away for me. And it's happening in every group I check. I'm seeing it happen in Chrome (44.0.2403.157 m) and IE 11 on Windows 7.
I've checked tl4_plus, area_usa, moderators, and admins.

Thats just Discourse helping out because the groups are so small!

They all start duped but a refresh clears it up. We're two beta releases behind right now. I guess we need to figure out the customization stuff.

In other words, a refresh is not clearing this up for me. I've tried F5 and Ctrl+R. Still duped.

Yes, you said that in your OP. I was just saying that it was for me. Chrome 44 on Linux, BTW.
-
Same here, refresh does not clear the dupes. FF+Win7

Just tested the different styles (Discourse Default, TDWTF Default, Widescreen+min). No effect.

Looking in Chrome's DevTools, the page is issuing two requests to
members.json
, and appending both resultsets to the table. Also, I see exactly the same issue as @abarker.

I hadn't even looked because I figure they can do their own debugging, but that is …

the page is issuing two requests to members.json
<discobashing>Makes sense. Ask twice if the request may not list everyone in the group, so between the two requests, you could very well have a full group. The bug is that they're just blindly appending the lists, not merging them first</discobashing>
Check the raw

Check the raw
Was there really a need? Isn't pretty much every bug report a case of dicobashing these days?

I didn't want to take any chances that someone would take what I said seriously.
Also, while I did get a Reply notification for that post, I didn't get a Like notification.

Obligatory meta.d report:

This doesn't happen for me on Discourse Default, btw.Nevermind, it seems to not happen inconsistently on either
It does on TDWTF Default though.
-
So, I did get those Like notifications. It didn't give me the Like notification when @aliceif liked my first post, but did when you did.
Go home Discourse, you're drunk.

It does on TDWTF Default though.Odd. It happens for me consistently on all three styles.
And just reprod on Android 5.0

I've tried it a few more times now. Happens a lot more often than it doesn't but occasionally doesn't happen.
Stupid Discourse, can't even be broken properly.
