Lower one has Likes column. Also, different number of unread posts in "getting older" and "celebrating" topics.

About 2.5KB?
-
Would it be possible to get a Bookmarks tab on the homepage? I used the Starred page a fair amount, and would like something similar now Stars have been folded into Bookmarks.
-
Hurrah! What else can we customise?
-

Has that been discussed anywhere (i.e. is there any code I can C&P)?
-
I have this, and while
Starred
is there, there's nothing for bookmarks (andStarred
doesn't display anything any more)
-
That doesn't surprise me. Seems typical of the way Discourse is developed, that when a feature is folded into another one, no-one takes the time to think 'Hang on, what about the people who used that feature we've just removed?'...
-
Hurrah! What else can we customise?
-
Yeah, and now we have "Read" and "My Posts."
I think the bookmarked might be an optional column, but I haven't seen what the magic incantation is to get it to show up.
-
So...looks like Stars were converted. I have a bunch of "bookmarked first posts" in my bookmarks. But no sensible way to get to those, other than to notice them in other lists.
-
Yeah, and now we have "Read" and "My Posts."
<shrug> they were there to be selected - might as well see if they're buggy...
-
Bookmarks tab on the homepage?
doesn't look too promising actually - there isn't a filter for bookmarked posts. Or if there is there's no translations for it...
./config/locales/client.en.yml
:filters: with_topics: "%{filter} topics" with_category: "%{filter} %{category} topics" latest: title: "Latest" help: "topics with recent posts" hot: title: "Hot" help: "a selection of the hottest topics" read: title: "Read" help: "topics you've read, in the order that you last read them" categories: title: "Categories" title_in: "Category - {{categoryName}}" help: "all topics grouped by category" unread: title: zero: "Unread" one: "Unread (1)" other: "Unread ({{count}})" help: "topics you are currently watching or tracking with unread posts" lower_title_with_count: zero: "" one: "1 unread" other: "{{count}} unread" new: lower_title_with_count: zero: "" one: "1 new" other: "{{count}} new" lower_title: "new" title: zero: "New" one: "New (1)" other: "New ({{count}})" help: "topics created in the last few days" posted: title: "My Posts" help: "topics you have posted in" category: title: zero: "{{categoryName}}" one: "{{categoryName}} (1)" other: "{{categoryName}} ({{count}})" help: "latest topics in the {{categoryName}} category" top: title: "Top" help: "the most active topics in the last year, month, week or day" yearly: title: "Top Yearly" monthly: title: "Top Monthly" weekly: title: "Top Weekly" daily: title: "Top Daily" this_year: "This year" this_month: "This month" this_week: "This week" today: "Today" other_periods: "see more top topics" browser_update: 'Unfortunately, <a href="http://www.discourse.org/faq/#browser">your browser is too old to work on this site</a>. Please <a href="http://browsehappy.com">upgrade your browser</a>.'

Shocker. I put a post on meta, so we'll see (maybe)...

I'm guessing yes?
I haven't read the Likes thread since yesterday around noon-ish (I believe, but definitely not recently), though it's possibly correct on the next three (this topic was definitely last, the other two were recent, yes), but then shows a "New" topic, which, given the OP is correct, means it should be correctly in my muted categories (since it's in Articles).
It, honestly, just looks like another "Latest" list, but it ignores category settings, considering the list is default ordered by "Activity".
My Posts, though, looks correct.

Also, this on mobile:
Bunch of extra whitespace at the top, plus now the site logo (and clickable area to get to latest there) is top aligned and not close to fitting to the height of the bar.
Though the whitespace may be due to the CSS links @PJH put in, because they showed briefly when loading and are now gone (hidden by the bar maybe).
-
Though the whitespace may be due to the CSS links @PJH put in,
It appears to be; commenting them out makes that whitespace go away...
I'll have a poke around tomorrow when back at a keyboard. Maybe stick an id on the div (if not already; the block was a C&P jobbie) and hide it on mobile...
-
Can the links go at the bottom, or is there only the option to put them at the top?
-
Wow the widescreen+minimal look really causes the icons to clash with the screen/window borders.
It's also quite claustrophobic. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and declare that I like the TDWTF-adjusted discourse theme and think it's fine.
I'm sure I'll like the discourse vanilla theme after an adjustment period as well. Also I'd like to thank discourse for submitting this post before it was finished after I pressed some keys pretty far removed from enter. Maybe not even sarcastically?!?!

Top only.Ideally the place for them would be once on the preferences page...

Screenshot?
That one is essentially what's in my Stylish plus TDWTF stuff. Mainly put there for the sake of putting something there that was a 'bit different'.

Yes.
I've hidden it with CSS as I already use the widescreen one from when you posted it here before.

I hate the top one and want to see it blown to pieces by dynamite. I despise the bottom one and want to see it torn apart by rapid wolves.

why not combine the two and have both torn apart by rabid wolves who are stuffed to the gills with thermonuclear detonators on a countdown timer?
-
Because 1) wolves don't have gills, and 2) thermonuclear detonators are really quite wimpy compared to just a crate full of dynamite. It just needs to compress a ball of fissionable material into a small space, it doesn't take a lot of explosive to do that. (It does take very careful timing, though.)

I read that as meaning the primary fission device that gets the fusion device going.

this. big badabooom!
much bigger than TNT.

Hello @NSA.

i love that movie!

i love that movie!
I figured. Who doesn't? (@Blakeyrat, I'll bet. He probably screamed at the screen the entire time, ranting about how it doesn't make sense.)

Well, this doesn't seem right:

True. Way too much orange.

It's not , it's
Wait a minute. orange_book? Khhaaaaaaaaan!!!!!1

yeah.... @loopback0 and I may have accidentally started a flame war.
i say may of course because i'm not 100% positive on @loopback0's intentions.
-
If the intention of the WS+Minimal link is to get feedback on it, I think it's pretty severely congested and hard to use. Also, it completely wipes out whatever space Standard Discourse uses for the "click here to pull topic updates" blue bar, causing the bar to overlay on top of the first topic on the list.
Otherwise, just carry on and I'll stick with my TDWTF Default css setting.
ETA: Also, the blue bar interacts very poorly with the "unread/new posts" circles -- the unread or new posts circle floats on top of the blue bar, which then floats on top of the poor title topic.

autocomplete.... it gets weird sometimes.
fixed.

I was diggin' Luc Besson movies back when you needed to speak French to understand them.
Except I didn't like The Messenger much.
-

Oh that would be acceptable. That's a few kilotons.
-

Thanks to a suggestion (well more than that..) from @Monarch:
I'll sort out styling later..

Wasn't the Posts column previously Discorounded?
-
I believe so, but maybe they stopped when they were clearing up columns because they had more room.
Hrm, I thought I had a mobile screenshot of the topic list with the long topics from before this last update, guess I actually don't. Ah, but I did find an iPad screenshot that shows the rounding (which I never uploaded, and I no longer remember why I took the screenshot).
-
Wouldn't be Discoursistency without Discorounding on 1 column and not on the next.

Orange Catholic Bible?
No, obscure old networking protocol. (Good riddance!)
