http://www.eigomanga.com/vanguard/index-us.html if you still need that (I guess you don't).
It's actually a nice WTF - they set up this:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://j.maxmind.com/app/geoip.js"></script> <script language="JavaScript"> <!-- var country= geoip_country_code(); if(country == "US"){ window.location = "http://www.eigomanga.com/vanguard/index-us.html"; } else { window.location = "http://www.eigomanga.com/vanguard/index-int.html"; } //--> </script>
and the geoip.js 404s, so it doesn't do the redirect.
Also 0xc0000022 is "access denied", so they probably either fucked up the permissions bad (if even running as admin doesn't work), or something like that.

I'm pretty sure that error code can come up if the application has a dependency on a DLL that can't be found anywhere. But not 100% sure. Point is, it's a shitty games with shitty developers who did a shitty job and it doesn't work.

Yeah, doesn't seem to be worth debugging either.
Also:
Features uncensored DLC demanded by longtime Vanguard Princess fans.
Yeah, "fans"...

I don't get why they don't just buy real porn. It'd be cheaper.
They really like this exact brand of big-titted anime girls? Maybe there are, like, connoisseurs of that stuff, I don't know.

I finally got around to watching the last couple of the Crystals of Time videos. The most entertaining (???) part would have been someone watching me pointing — "there; right there!" — to all the objects that you didn't see, even though your pointer was right next to them.
I like hidden object puzzles, but I don't think I'd have put up with all the backtracking.

This game is more fun than Shadow of Mordor. #mega-troll

Someone already posted this elsewhere. #ISeeYourTrollAndReturnTheFavor.
-
That actually looks quite fun, in a pretty unintentional way
-
It honestly isn't that bad a game. I've paid more for worse.
-
It honestly isn't that bad a game.
It definitely provided you with some excitement when you finished that last level.

Body is too similar to a death-thread against Jeff Atwood

Clearly you're hitting the enemy with the bow and then stabbing them with an arrow while they're confused. That's the most efficient way to use bows and arrows.
-
Right but the tip was breaking off when I stabbed them because I somehow used 20 arrows.
-
Is there even gameplay in that game? All I see so far is a bunch of "you can't do this thing so here's a cryptic error message written by computer scientists" and "you don't own the item you're trying to steal" and "the enemy attacks you. you can't see it, but trust us. really." and [insert 7 hours of rapidly flashing text with every third message being "(--)"].
This thing is making Falskaar look like a masterpiece.
-
Is there even gameplay in that game?
I don't believe so.
I actually got on for another half hour or so and discovered some hilarious stuff (the strafe animation, for example). I walked around the town for 30 minutes and I didn't find anybody selling a pair of pants. I just wanted to put pants on.
That said, the one character who asked for money in the game wouldn't take it, so even if I had found a guy who sells pants, he probably wouldn't have taken my money for no reason.
-
Wow! Just wow.
This is one of the worst games I've ever seen. I was getting frustrated just watching you.
It's seems incredible you can't skip those stupid dialogues. What were they thinking!?
-
Well you kind of need the tutorials, because nothing works. But instead of saying actually useful stuff like, "here's how you move your camera" or "here's what the auto-run key is, we didn't use numlock like every MMO ever made ever in history ever" (things I haven't figured out after like 2 hours of total gameplay), they just blather on for 5 minutes about how their pies taste good and bring lunch to people.
The "golden man" tooltips it told me to look for was a total waste of time, the tutorial area doesn't have any beyond the first two.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the gambling guy near the end of the second video wouldn't take my 3 "tris" because I needed to make change somehow. Because that's the kind of idiot thing that idiots making RP MUDs do in the name of "realism". For some reason, a lot of idiots who make RP MUDs confuse "realism" for "annoyance".
-
BTW if anybody likes these videos and wants to get in on the action, I'd love a second voice for these let's plays. All you need is some bandwidth and a decent microphone, I do all the work. Let me know.

Bad Rats
The most amusing part is, it goes for 5 euro without the deals. Other than that, sweet Jesus is this horrible. One, it's disturbing and creepy as fuck, in this uncanny valley between cartoony violence and just plain old ultraviolence. Two, physics-based gameplay does not really work in TIM-style games - I didn't play it, but I imagine a lot of pixel-perfect positioning at later levels.
Off to Planeshift. This gunna be good...

Are you in Italy? It seems it costs five times as much in Italy than in anywhere else.

Two Worlds - Episode 3

Yah sorry, had to post from phone.

Two Worlds has TERRIBLE cutscenes, dialogues and voice acting. But once you get over that (meaning skip over everything), it's actually pretty fun. I remember liking the weapon combining mechanics and exploration back in the day when I played it.

Oblivion had Patrick Stewart. NO CONTEST.

Hm, I got the sound balance pretty good (except my own mic is too high), but the sync is off because the capture card introduces a 1.5 or so second delay... gotta figure that out for next time.

http://www.twitch.tv/blakeyratSTREAMING MORE SONIC!!! http://www.twitch.tv/blakeyratStream over.
Video:

— blakeyratStill bad at this streaming thing, but improving a bit. I set a sound delay this time, but it wasn't enough to resemble sync. Sigh. Video cap card = slooow.

I am thoroughly frustrated by even watching this.
-
It's frustrating to play, yes. But what REALLY kicks you in the balls is only having a savepoint every 30+ minutes-- especially when you lose 4 of your 5 lives to physics bugs and not actually screwing up.
Both Sonic and Shadow in my game are now "stuck" in places where I gave up playing because I got like 40 minutes in then lost all my progress. Ironically, that means Silver (by FAR the worst, least-fun character to play) is also the most un-stuck.
Somehow YouTube is 47% done processing the stream video, even though it's only 29% uploaded. Magic.
-
Wow people on the stream aren't kidding, Sonic/main character does turn invisible when hit.
I think that's because Sonic 2006 runs at 60 FPS, and my capture card's only pulling half of those frames, and the game does that "one frame on, one frame off" effect when you're temporarily invincible due to being hit.
I wonder if there are any HDMI cap cards capable of 60 FPS...
-
What the fuck, let's play those Shadow levels:/http://www.twitch.tv/blakeyrat<- this second line isn't strikethrough even though tagged to be AND striked on the preview window? WTF Discourse, broken piece of shitVideozzz:

No I was playing Evolve and didn't want it to lag.

OMG on the Retsupurae playthrough of Sonic '06, the constantly teleporting taxi!!

Jesus I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Sad that didn't happen in my game.
