People currently need to show the "LeaveHomeSafe" (安心出行) App with "Blue Code" to enter public premise.
After the news that 2 days ago someone from South Africa were blocked from entry of watching a Rugby match because he still has "Yellow Code" (Not vaccinated and no negative result for the second PCR test yet), there were groups of foreigners decided to were t-shirt with "Red Code" as a way to protest about this.
The man on the lower right corner is holding his phone showing LFT result to police.

@Gustav there's also a nerdy jokes thread. It is . Same effect except expect:
- you get extra people pretending to get the joke, and
- somebody angrily deconstructing your premise.
Aw, c'mon. Wave-particle duality is inherently funny all by itself.
But only when you're not looking at it.

I think that's the point. 🤔

There's lots of shops that offers "heat transfer" finishing on the t-shirt they bought. All they have to do is prepare a pic of actual "Red Code", edit it to change the place to Hong Kong Stadium and time to the time of the match taking place, and then to find such shop that sells t-shirt of that green color, and produce multiple such t-shirt to sell near the stadium.
Surely someone will buy it to wear it there.

They fade quickly. Their colors tend to run. Cheap to whip up.

Parents,
If your last name is Head please don't name your son Richard.
-
@Gern_Blaanston So,
Dick
is a common short version ofRichard
, the full name could then be a good description of that guy, ain't it?

I once had a boss named Tom Thomas, which means his full name is probably
Thomas Thomas
And apparently, its not just an American thing. I met a doctor who is originally from Egypt named
Gergis Gergis
.On the other hand, Gerry Dorsey changed his name to Engelbert Humperdinck and became quite famous and wealthy. So, there's that.

He had three strikes against him from the beginning – his mother, his father, and Henry Fonda, to whom he bore a sickly resemblance almost from the moment of his birth. Long before he even suspected who Henry Fonda was, he found himself the subject of unflattering comparisons everywhere he went. Total strangers saw fit to deprecate him, with the result that he was stricken early with a guilty fear of people and an obsequious impulse to apologize to society for the fact that he was not Henry Fonda.

I'm not saying to do it. I'm saying you can't.
I mean, that's fine, people forget stuff. Letting go of skills and abilities is a normal, healthy part of the dying process. Without not doing things, how can you leave things left undone?

The former head (just head) of the Catholic church in the Philippines was called Cardinal Sin. And it's not even his parents' fault—Chinese heritage and catholicism don't go well together.
Anyway I've yet to see a people that would beat Filipinos in that game. "Jejomar" is a real name there, stands for "Jesus, Maria,Joseph". People name their kids in phonetic successions like Bing, Beng and Bong, or Biboy and Buboy ("Baboy" would be next but it's probably rare as it means "pig"). Bingbong, Dingdong or Tingting are also fairly common as nicknames. They're not on the birth certificate but they're the names people use all the time, even in formal settings. I personally know a girl called Rejoice. Not because Christianity or anything, it's a very popular (and her father's favorite) shampoo brand from P&G
