True, you can't immediately figure out that this is a "/"
I then wrote a php interpreter for such javascript expressions and enjoyed it. I love javascript. And even a node. But I don't like it when things are complicated unnecessarily.

  • I see that the NodeBB problem is not a Javascript or Node problem. This is an ideological problem. Well, I love talking about ideology as much as digging through the code. And as in programming I start with the alphabet, so in ideology I like to start with the creation of the world) True, this time I will start with the appearance of Homo sapiens. Leisurely. But first I must (once again) make a statement.

  • I believe that it is not necessary to have a lot of knowledge or a big head to get the right answers to big questions.

Firstly, any phenomenon has infinite complexity and it is impossible to know it to the end.

Secondly, for practice, for life, absolute knowledge is not required, it is enough to know in stages, in scales.

Thirdly, if the phenomenon is very large, then it is necessary to start studying it not with a microscope, but with a telescope.

Fourth, the fewer the details, the easier it is for us to see and understand the essence of the phenomenon.

Fifth, nature is designed in such a way that all the main ideas are very simple.

Sixth, the best way to understand something for yourself is to try to tell others)

  • I think it will be easy and useful to trace the path from the first homo sapiens to julianlam. Unfortunately, these days and tomorrow I don't have much time - but you wait) if I disappear, then I will appear.

  • It will be very easy for us to start, as we already know what the essence of Homo sapiens is.

@tania_v said in NodeBB for older browsers:

For some reason, many people think that for big questions you need to have a lot of knowledge or a big head. I think that it is not so. Because all the big questions are simple. Let's take an example of the question - what is homo sapiens?

On the first day we say mind! Meaning the ability to predict, analyze, plan, calculate ...

On the second day, we listen to ourselves, remember our acquaintances, whom cannot predict, analyze, plan, calculate and we say that yes, this is the mind, but we mean consciousness, self-awareness.

On the third day, we meet julianlam and tell ourselves that we must also add empathy.

That's it: the essence of homo sapiens is the ability for consciousness, self-awareness and empathy.

We get almost the same conclusion, which has been for many years: homo sapiens is an animal that knows that the time will come and it will die. But we made these conclusions ourselves, with our own head, we understand why it is so, we can move on.

  • But to what was said above, it is imperative to add remarks about homo - it was said above about sapiens only - but homo has not gone anywhere.

    1. Homo is a collective animal, he exists only as a network node

    2. Homo is the ugliest animal on this planet. It is cowardly, dirty, smelly, aggressive, greedy, omnivorous, it takes pleasure in killing. He managed to survive only due to abnormal lust - sex in his head every second. There is a theory (mine) that an anomalous mind appeared in him for the same reason - otherwise such an abomination could not survive.

TV Tropes said in https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ITakeOffenseToThatLastOne :

I Take Offense to That Last One!

"Ugly Dog Theory: In a comedy, whenever someone is being pummeled with insults, it's always the last and most seemingly innocent insult that evokes a heated response. Example: 'You're ugly, your mother is ugly, your brother is ugly and your dog is ugly!' Response: 'You can't talk that way about my dog!'"

Someone accused of Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking responds, "How dare you? I would never jaywalk!"

After being given a Long List of their flaws and transgressions, a character responds by selecting one of the flaws and saying "I am not (flaw)!" as if to imply that all the other flaws were all spot-on. For maximum comedic effect, offense is taken to the mildest one in the list, or the offended has to ask the offender to repeat the one he's insulted by ("Hey, I am NOT a... um, what was that last one again?") which insinuates that all of them may be accurate. Frequently, they'll be entirely justified. Despite the name, the character doesn't always pick the last one. If their Berserk Button comes up, it's going to offend them more than any other insult. It can be used sarcastically with affable 'scoundrel' characters, and a staple of the Deadpan Snarker. Sometimes refuting the most easily refuted charge can discredit the whole string for an in-story audience.

Alternatively, a character may take umbrage at all the insults, but address the one that bothers them most rather than getting into a point-by-point argument or address one that isn't a matter of opinion. Sometimes, it's just that only one of the set of insults actually matters, to either the speaker or target or both.

This can also be used for character exposition. A villain may not care about being called a brute or a sadist, but be offended by being called a wimp.

In real life, it's done as an Insult Backfire, as they respond to the petty insult while ignoring the larger ones as if to say "It's not worth my time".

A variation on this is for the character to claim that the string of insults is a half-truth, letting the viewer try to decide which parts are true or not. It's occasionally inverted with a bullying character playing the Jerk with a Heart of Jerk card and "apologizing" for an insult in a way that degrades the insultee(s) more. For example, calling an entire group of people "pigs" and then saying: "I'm sorry. I hope I didn't offend any pigs." Or calling someone "ugly" and, when an apology is demanded, saying: "Okay, I'm sorry you're ugly."

Compare: My Friends... and Zoidberg, Insult Backfire, and Wrong Insult Offence. This is a case of the character on the receiving end of Comically Missing the Point.

    Dearest Tania,

It has been many moons since my last missive to you. I fear we are growing apart. I hope you have not been killed because of the words of a prostitute who remembered that 20 years ago this man had sex with her not in agreement. I am, after all, only a homo. I managed to survive only due to abnormal lust. Some may say it is cowardly, dirty, smelly, aggressive, greedy, even omnivorous. I only hope that you can see through to the real me, that I am a free man. A collective animal. I exist only as a network node. None of us can exist outside the network. I am against contact with alien intelligence in the form of a donkey.

    julianlam

Yesterday I already thought that I should be very ashamed: I promised to go from the first homo sapiens to julianlam - but I myself do not have much knowledge of the history of mankind. This was sent to the background and quite recently the answer came from there: you can do this very simply ... And in the next posts, I will tell all this in more detail.

  • We need to understand how the development of Homo went after the appearance of sapiens. Well, what does julianlam have to do with it.

This is about the brain. And my podosozanie has long been pushed into the mind and even into a post on this forum that it is easier to look at the social organism. As soon as the subconscious gave me this clue, a reminder, I immediately understood the idea of a short way - we will look at the effect of especially smart people in a social organism - in recent times, in our time - we have this experiment!!!

  • homo sapiens - reasonable man
    sapiens - intelligent
homo - gay, queer, homosexual, homo, fag, fairy...

I didn't know))) And what to do??? What word is suitable for a person before the emergence of reason???

  • Let's move on.

    But first, two comments.

    First.
Yet the mind begins with enhanced ability to establish cause and effect relationships. More memory. More speed. More options.
    Consciousness appears later.
Self-awareness after consciousness, some may not manifest at all.
    Empathy grows all life.
So we must first look at the mind as a new computing device in the head of an old homo.

    Second.
It is forbidden to study homo sapiens and its social organism. The body of homo sapiens became legal for study not so long ago, and even then not fully. Homo sapiens' brain and social organism can be viewed, but only through the prism of politics. I'm going to break these prohibitions.

  • People are different. Similar people unite and create social organisms - nations. Usually in the form of states. There are options. Sometimes a nation cannot create its own state, sometimes a state contains several nations. But this does not negate the main thing - people are different and they are grouped according to their similarity.

Politics forbids saying that nations can discriminate by the power of the mind. We must argue that if there are such differences, it is only because the conditions are different. But if we are doing science, then we must not lie to ourselves. We have at least one global experiment that shows us that one nation (let us designate it as J) in the most diverse conditions of various nations demonstrates an increased power of its mind.

  • If nation J is less than 10% of the total population of the state and at the same time has 90% of prizes in the field of art, wealth, science - and this happens always and everywhere - then do we need a microscope?

If different states are forced to apply unspoken prohibitions for the representatives of this nation - what does this mean?

This suggests that if we are smart people, we should not close our eyes: we have an experiment, we must carefully look at its results.

  • We must definitely conduct such an analysis! Not for the sake of purely scientific interest - but for the sake of our survival in the future !!! - a powerful mind may appear in our societies tomorrow! artificial, semi-artificial, human - this is not so important - it is important to know what should we do!!!

  • It's complicated.
The J people gave us several world religions. But how many later died and are dying in religious battles.
The J people gave us science and technology. But it nearly killed us all in terrible wars (and what will be unclear).
The J people have composed a lot of art. But didn't it help the dictators to kill millions?

  • We are almost out on julianlam. Not because the nation. But because the mind plus the characteristic differences of the nation J - which ones, we will consider further.
