I came up with this joke once on my own, and now I regret not having shared it.

@Tsaukpaetra I thought that was it when I first saw the post, but to look up all the statuses I don't know off the top of my head
Not a true nerd!
My first reference did not include many of the codes, and the ones I did get didn't help much, so in true tradition I gave up trying to make sense of it and waited for someone else to complain.

Wait, it was supposed to be smut? I'll try reading it again. Even after your clue that these are HTTP codes the exchanges didn't make sense to me.

I've heard some crazy things...

I have no trouble believing this. I'm reasonably sure you've heard yourself say some of them.
-
@GÄ ska So he solved the trivial stuff meticulously and in excruciating detail and then just gave the answer when we got to the complicated part. Is that the joke?

A leonardodavinciish boxing-in of a breakdancer with one hand tied to his leg?

@Bulb Speed of @Tsaukpaetra "reading" a post after it's been posted
Sleep mode, reduced functionality mode, reduced functionality mode necessitating a reboot or normal mode necessitating a reboot anyway excluded. Do not operate TDWTF while driving. Other terms and conditions may apply. But because you haven't read them, they don't.

Took some googling and ignoring a whole bunch of "convert this" things. But, AHHA!, it's the speed of sound at 77F (25C) through air. Still no idea what that image is... (Also, TIL, the speed of sound varies based on temp - the colder it is, the slower sound is.)

It also depends on several properties of the material through which it's traveling, which to look up, but it's considerably faster in things like water and steel.
Still no idea what that image is...
This.

I'm WAGing it's a character from a fighting videogame .

Oh yeah. Corrected...

@Zecc It's certainly nothing I recognize, but Sonic would make sense in the context.
-
To make matters worse, neither TinEye nor GIS are being helpful.
-
@Zecc It would probably help if there were a bigger, higher-res version available. It kinda looks like somebody punching the ground, maybe?
Filed under: Is it really a nerdy joke if some of the biggest nerds around don't get it?

To be specific, it is Iori Yagami from the King of Fighters series.
Don't know why the image they used has visible hit boxes though.

It's Orochi Iori from the King of Fighters series. I guess his slide attack is fast?

@Zecc did you just take that screenshot

I'm digging Postgres. There's a function to get the largest value from two columns. It's the GREATEST!

@obeselymorbid the timeline per se can be reasonable: each time a software is updated the answer may change.
