Yes, IIRC Ben did some "database" voodoo to figure out who had ever posted in the garage and automagically added them to it.

So JerryRigEverything, the YouTuber who bypassed the original lock with nothing but a screwdriver and a suction cop did take a look at the upgraded lock a while ago, only getting it open with brute force:

Oops.
Despite avoiding a big fine, the FTC made it clear that it will be keeping an eye on Tapplock.

Btw, I recently found this YouTube channel. Watch his April Fool series, it's interesting.
I seriously recommend search his channel for review of locks you plan to buy before actually buying them.
