@SpectateSwamp, have you considered updating SSDS's index file to harness the modern power of blockchain technology and the improved sharing that would imply?
Which crypto-currency do you think has the best future?

Stone Crypto of course.Right now it can search any text file. Block chain or no. 20mps on old technology
The latest super Spectate Feature the Budge / stop motion / replay replay could be used by Self Driving Software apps.
They could benefit from the rapid replay... Just to see moving objects more easily... It works.
-
@spectateswamp can you demonstrate this block chain ability? I would love to see it

Sorry I'm too busy with the Super Spectate stop motion video Feature....
I hear block chain files are huge. No problem.
What do block chain apps do?Search and replace / change
Find and display or extract
Append to fileSearch as fast as a text file can be read in.
Run multiple copies of the app on different parts of the file if need be.
Spectate Search will be fast.Sometimes it's good to be Dumb. So much more to learn that way.
The budge feature is teaching me about playback.
It works great at close up stuff. But notso good on farther away.
Which is fine. I'll just use the standard segment playback for those...
With the play control lines repeated multiple times..
-
@spectateswamp
The BlockChain files got me thinking that maybe Spectate Search would be too slow. It is easy to create a simple search without the overhead... of features.
Because to search full words and multiple words with spaces I had to replace multiple spaces and tabs with 1 space AND that takes time.
Then I thought If there are no spaces in the 6 search target strings then I can noodle around that spaces and tabs stuff.
Spectate Search just got a lot faster. 90% of all searches have no SPACE in them....
Sharing Knowledge faster than ever... Maybe I'm just getting smarter and smarter.... too.

You are officially smarter than a good chunk of the software industry.

I've always wondered - what's it like to have your own Encyclopedia Dramatica page?

REMEMBER this is played back super slow....

Because my Swampies want it. And it is from a couple hours ago.What weird behavior for a hawk.

Sharing Knowledge is much easier when it is no longer Illegal...
Case in point Marijuana / Pot / Cannabis / Weed..
Now We can call out the Medical profession for withholding this cure.
When they hide the #1 and #2 cure-all's AND the entire history of traditional cures....
(Colloidal Silver, Marijuana / pot / Cannabis, Health Food outlets)
How can they be trusted. Ever again... Boo M.D. Double Boo..Now We will see blurry eyed competitors winning all the awards.
Now we can freely talk truth and call out the B.S without fear.
-
@spectateswamp just what ailments does marijuana cure? I know it treats glaucoma and chemotherapy side effects but afaik it doesn't cure anything.
-
@the_quiet_one It cures Epilepsy but I won't know if I had it.. Cuzz I have been toking forever..
It cures paranoia. You get used to anxiety or quit. It makes me way too talkative. So it cures that..
I could go on and on...
-
@spectateswamp said in Nobody shares knowledge better than this:
@the_quiet_one It cures Epilepsy
Wrong. It might treat epilepsy, but a cure means you take it once and it goes away forever. If you have to keep toking to ward off seizures, then that's not a cure. Big difference.
-
@the_quiet_one Nope you are wrong...
-
@spectateswamp on what counts?
-
@pie_flavor
I know a lot about PotWhen growing Pot is legal:
Anxiety and Depression will disappear.
PotHeads know that Anxiety means good pot.
Animals are not anxious unless they are under immediate threat. Nor should we...
Don't be worry have a toke..The PotHeads that are Police won't have to be such hypocrites
Toking and Busting Us.
-
@pie_flavor said in Nobody shares knowledge better than this:

Counts that Nobody Shares Knowledge better than the INTERNET
The preponderance of facts are on My side.
-
@spectateswamp And yet none of that was about epilepsy or what specific aspects @The_Quiet_One was wrong about.

Now if you swampies had similar large text files.
@spectateswamp said in Nobody shares knowledge better than this:
I have found lots of old text.. email notes etc. now the file is 89mb
I generated a text file the other day that was over 15GB in size. (2.6GB zipped.) It was a real pain to transfer to the people who needed it. It wasn't very interesting though and you wouldn't get a lot of joy out of searching it.
-
@scarlet_manuka
What is in that file.
Have you read it all.
I keep all kinds of stuff that is mine. and not mine..
Share it regardless.

Awe man, Mine was a mere 500 Mb in size, also not very interesting.
But maybe the joy could be shared, if not the NDA to stop the knowledge sharing.
It was shared over an unencrypted (thanks for that, Perforce) connection, I assume for maximum speed?
Maybe some of the bits got lost on the Internet and conspiracy watchers saw it.
-
@spectateswamp I can't share it; it is commercial in confidence, albeit anonymised as much as practicable. And no, I didn't read it all; like I said, it was very boring. 50 million data records. After the first million or so it gets a bit repetitive.
-

PotHeads know that Anxiety means good pot.So...
Good pot = Anxiety
Legal pot = !AnxietyMeaning...
Legal pot != Good potSo, what I read from this means that legalizing pot will lead to a severe drop in quality. So why would any pothead want that in that case?
-
@atazhaia So, what I read from this means that legalizing pot will lead to a severe drop in quality. So why would any pothead want that in that case?
Drop in Anxiety and Depression. Last time I experienced that was a while back with super good pot. It didn't last.. I'm cured of Anxiety.. Hallelujah
-
@spectateswamp I suppose being completely delusional could be a "cure" for anxiety...

I'll be able to show off and share the ToKin Stone without the fuzz trying to confiscate it as paraphernalia I should definitely be in the July first Canada Day Parade..

@tsaukpaetra But it is for someone who's stoned.

I hear the stonage makes it go by quicker, actually. Is that not true?
-
@tsaukpaetra If you're asking me, you're asking the wrong person. It seems reasonable, but I have no experience on which to base an answer. But 46 years is a long time for any person, stoned (I assume) or not.

No, I returned to AZ. I've lived here for most my life, with stints in Idaho, California, and Oregon. :)
-
@tsaukpaetra My point was that you didn't like CA deserts, but you chose to live somewhere even more desert. Unless you live someplace like Flagstaff, there appears to be some cognitive dissonance there.
