Why is the number of times you can get a password wrong before the account is locked always an odd number?

purple/pink
purple is what "manly men" call pink when they want to wear it but aren't confident enough in their "masculinity" to call it pink, so they call it purple because it's "safer"
Look you "manly" "men", we know the code. you're not fooling anyone. also we don't care. if you want to wear pink you want o wear pink. so wear pink and anyone who tells you you shouldn't you can, and should, tell to fuck right off.
TIL: @accalia is (at least partially) color blind.
i thought that was obvious given my species. I'm not a lucky primate with their fancy three rod cell configuration.
Speaking English and programming computers also aren't typical of your species, so it was indeterminate what other aspects of your self might have been "uplifted" in the transition between feral and anthro.
However. Even with feral-state red-green colorblindness, you should still be able to distinguish purple from pink (light red):

No.

The one and only problem I have is that the supplied pockets on the brand I bought are utterly useless.
Welcome to women's clothing.
Yeah, no idea why designers are so.... I don't even know.

@accalia Do you feel the same way about utilikilts?
BTW PJH "oh mans this is off-topic Blakeyrat must be about to post meme cartoons or whatever!" but look no I'm not because the new topic is more fun to discuss than the old one, which was based on a completely stupid and wrong premise anyway.
You're wrong.

Yeah, no idea why designers are so.... I don't even know.
Having bulging pockets on pants is aesthetically pleasing in some very specific settings only. Women know this and make utility trade-offs; the designers accommodate. It's stupid from an utility point of view, but so are neckties. Do you blame these on designers too?
And regarding the odd number of retries: Odd numbers seem more humane because they give you one more try.

There are almost no clothes with pockets that work for women. I buy men's clothes.

Depth-of-pocket is my first and by far most important criterion when shopping for pants.
Sometimes I wonder how the situation could get this bad. Then I remember neckties and the wonder dies in despair.

@pjh looks like a nice present for unsuspecting co-workers. Especially if they're of the pocket-deprived gender.

Yes. Neck ties are just slim frontal capes.

Those aren't pants.
But now I'm seriously drafting up a design request to have them as an optional feature in garments...
Edit: and not just because I'm tired of storing my phone in that weird access slit.

Men always love to whine about neckties. Try a choker sometime. Neckties are a luxury.

Screw chokers!

@yamikuronue I shall try a choker on the next appropriate occasion.

Speaking of pockets, I just realized the pocket on this polo shirt I'm wearing, is just the top of a pocket with the button, and nothing else. I never use shirt pockets anyway so it doesn't matter, but I think this is the first shirt I've had with a fake one.

Yeah, I have some pants with pockets that I could fit a couple quarters in. Not very useful.
Work pants have pockets more often than casual pants (some can even fit a phone in ) but I generally wear more casual pants.
Yeah, I don't understand ties.

I can't imagine a man's choker being nice without having to shave several times a day.
