@Arantor that generally only happens if you make enemies. Or by posting on /b/, but I repeat myself.
I don't think I'm important to have nemeses, and I've never posted anywhere on 4chan before.

@anotherusername I've been there like twice total. It's just not a venue I give any fucks about, like Reddit.
-
@Arantor you missed out on a lot of selfies of questionable legality, then...

A plan with no drawbacks.

Maybe not hard to find, but it would take non-zero effort beyond reading posts here.
Exactly. Most of us are here to avoid work, not to do more of it.

the third entry on a Google search for the handle, right after a Wiktionary link for the word and my GitHub profile.
I don't see what being an undead silver dragon has to do with being named "Pete". "George" maybe, but not Pete.

a Wiktionary link for the word
TIL.
arantor: third-person plural future passive imperative of arĹŤ
arĹŤ: plough, till; cultivate land, farm; acquire by tillage.
So that's... "(the ones who in the future you should have) ploughed"?
-
@Dreikin Interesting, because if I search on Google, third hit is Twitter for the same handle. Which does have my name on it.

third hit is Twitter for the same handle
Same here. Obviously @Dreikin's search history prioritises... other things.

More like "May they be ploughed in the future" or "Let them be ploughed in the future." 3rd person imperative is stuff like "Let there be light".
Imperative (in English... in other languages YMMV - notably in Welsh "Let there be light!" is just two words, "Bydded goleuni!"):
- 2nd person: "Go!" (shortest grammatical sentence in English), "Plough them!" etc.
- All other forms are constructed with a form of "let" or "may" cast in the 2nd person imperative, directed at an unnamed agent or instigator...
- 1st person singular: "Let me plough them!"
- 1st person plural: "Let's plough them!"
- 3rd person singular: "Let it be!" "Let him plough them!" or "May he plough them!" (not the same as "May he plough them?" which is asking for permission).
- 3rd person plural: "Let them come!", "Let them plough them." which might be better as "May they plough them!"
But in the passive:
- Be ploughed!
- May I be ploughed!
- Let's be ploughed!
- Let it be ploughed!
- Let them be ploughed! May they be ploughed!

@Zecc I don't think her name is Steve though.
I wonder if any Stephanies have had people call them Steve for short.
It kinda makes me want to try...
I've heard of them being "Stevie", (e.g. Nicks) but not "Steve"'.

But in the passive:
- Be ploughed!
- May I be ploughed!
- Let's be ploughed!
- Let it be ploughed!
- Let them be ploughed! May they be ploughed!
Always insist on affirmative consent. RAPE CULTURE

(twitter was 4th for me)

Does anyone ever confuse you for this person?

Haven't you ever heard of oral sex?
It's not just about people shouting "fuck you" at each other.
-
@ben_lubar Especially if it's maths debating, sure.

The point being made is that while it is indeed non-zero effort, it's like the third entry on a Google search for the handle, right after a Wiktionary link for the word and my GitHub profile.
