You've likely just added yourself to a bunch of FBI watch lists.
What would be less idiotic? Not banning him? Are you really suggesting that every soccer league in the world should be run by FIFA?
I'm saying it doesn't hurt him enough and that, even if the soccer league isn't run by FIFA, it should be standard practise for any soccer league to ban a player under these sorts of circumstances. I think it's wrong that he can carry on making millions with the example that he's setting.
At least yours were synchronised, unlike mine:

I'll try to keep the story short as some steaks are in the pan right now.1996 I started on AOL which was a decent ISP at that time. They wanted a nick to register. I wanted something unusual, so I thumped a small gaelic dictionary (no, I don't speak gaelic), found the gaelic word for seagull, and there you are. It first became my standard nick on AOL, then, by and by, my standard nick on pretty much everything.
Filed under: Someone beat me on twitter, though.
There are a lot of weird and wacky user names on this forum. What made you choose yours?
According to the radio, FIFA can only ban him from international football, which, if true, is idiotic.
So I was looking through @codinghorror's blog, as you do, and came across this post, which linked to this online book about the rise and fall of the WordPerfect Corporation.
I find this sort of thing fascinating and really enjoyed the book. Does anyone have any recommendations for other books of the same type, either in print or online? I'm intrigued by the history of the computing industry and code itself.
I've previously read A Computer Called Leo and I'll undoubtedly buy The Old New Thing at some point when I can justify the cost, but I'm open to any other suggestions.
P.S. Are the forums feeling a bit hostile these days or is it just me?
If you're professionally out of your chosen athletic field(cough) for 2 years, I don't think you're going to make much of a successful comeback
Agreed, two years is a long time in a footballer's career. I think that would be an adequate punishment.
So, any advice/idea? I've been thinking about creating a KeePass file for each project and attach it in our wiki, but I'm not sure of the consequences this will have.
I've used a KeePass file for our dev credentials. I'm sure a KeePass database for each project would work fine.
Notch tweeted about the following video and I found it really interesting (I knew I followed him for a reason):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsRRCnque2E
It's about the internals of the C64, and explains some of the tricks people used to get the most out of the hardware. I'm sure this won't interest everyone, but there are bound to be a few similarly weird people here.
If you know of any other interesting videos of a similar nature, feel free to post them below.
Is no one else bothered by "Mercure TI the outsideof horses and kidney"???
I'd be annoyed if they were missing from my Chinese crackers.
If you want to work on the monitor directly, just use an electric iron on "cotton" setting.
Thanks for your help. I'll try this out later.
I'm such a n00b :(.
Don't forget to block the vents first. I mean, if if all the heat is pumped out, I'm, afraid the secret trophy will never appear.
If I block the vents, how will I pump the heat onto my monitor?

I've heard of vegans who object to eating stuff that was pollinated by animals! At that point I'm not even sure what they can eat. So obviously everyone will find their own point of comfort between what they believe (animal suffering etc.) and what they need (eat!).
I'm perfectly happy to let them find their own point of discomfort because they're morally unable to eat anything.
How about other vegans?
Eating the meat eaters would be the better long term strategy to reduce animal suffering.
You'll get lot of comments. Is that not reason for posting pictures to website in first place?
I do it for the s.
Edit: Also please post link and we can make fun of wedding pictures.
I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do that.
Why is the installer not the most recent?!
That would be more work!
The FileZilla server updater uninstalled the server and then installed the most recent client without installing an updated server! I just love updaters that don't do anything useful!
This sentence brought this to mind:

I don't really understand the problem. Surely it's just a matter of looking for anywhere the title is output and HTML encoding it. That should be a quick fix.
Sorry Nagesha, it won't happen again =/.
Windows installing and configuring updates when I just want to shut down.
move the left Control to where the left Alt is
I think I'd rather avoid moving buttons. I had a netbook that switched the location of the left Ctrl and Fn and it drove me mad. I see the extra buttons as bonus keys that won't affect your use of traditional keyboards when you inevitably have to switch to one.
PS: eww, single row Enter key.
Thankfully I don't have that, this was just the best image I could find for quick modification. :)
