You should have used the Video somebody made that scrolled through the "Like-thread".
Oh well... now let's wait for the hillarity to ensue.

.... and then @blakeyrat shamefully edits his post... I am not going back on this post, though. He said "Two points before and I wanted to be pedantic again T_T
So where is your Discourse-Post about it? I am lurking that forum, waiting in anticipation for the reason you are doing it wrongtm when posting a video.
You'd better make a really entertaining post for making me wait this long (on that board)
Filed Under: or else something something!
Afaict, your topic is pretty much the only one that has some "value" to it
Back on topic: is @WTF reading all this still?
Filed Under: This is my meager attempt to rerail a topic!
If it is of any help to you... as is the standard with these "exclusive" places in forums.... you are not missing out on much!
Filed Under: There is rarely a reason to post there because in a discussion you want people to read your content
Addendum: You are missing me apologizing to blakeyrat, though.... not that you'd care, really.
I know my words will have little to no effect on your decision to leave or stay.
I have not talked to you before, so... first of all: Hi, I am me.
Now that I have introduced myself to you I want to say that I (and afaict most of the community) can totally agree with what you said.
While the rules at this place might not be as harsh as at sites like SO I really don't get what they are doing in a community driven board. (for example I don't get why I would be allowed to change your title just because I have been posting whatever I thought every once in a while).
Luckily, the toasters go away after a while, usually. And there is little to gain at higher "trust"-levels. So once you settle in at "Regular User" you have most of the normal forum-features you need. And getting there is... erm.... I dunno it's simple, just look it up in the FAQ (or ask some admin if he can lift you into it, if you are more into lurking. Pretty sure there is nothing speaking against that)
One good thing those limits did were being "interestingly" programmed so that (as you might have noticed already) a lot of people successfully pushed the boundaries of what they were supposed to do (Multiple likes, negative likes, seeing topics before they are life, etc).
Still it's always annoying to see people leave. You might have been a decent person to derail topics with and now I don't even get the chance to see you in action.
So... yeah.... I dunno what this post of mine is about, really. But if you wanna stay and have some fun with us (the community as well as breaking the forum) you are always more than welcome.
No, if they are workin for a NSFW-store then the content is fine for their store and therefore it is NSFW-content.

Do the taskbars actually show different things depending on what is on the specific monitor?

I made little coloured dots: red → new topic, blue → old topic

What is up with that? Was there a Discourse update that broke things? Did we dislike too much? Is that an admin-setting that changes things?

Dear Mr. @faoileag,
I know that small trolling and completely ignoring facts are good tools to keep a conversation going. I also think the group you are in is probably the best group on this board.
Still WTF are you even talking about?
If JDGI was the only thing on this board that was said about Jeff, then yeah, you'd be right.
If the worst insult we hurled at Jeff had been "puppy" then ... I dunno... T-Rex still sounds cooler so there is that.
I can understand @abarker when he says that he was irritated to be "insulted" in that regulated forum of meta.discourse but really... if Jeff were to openly talk about users from this forum the same way we talk about him... boy oh boy.
Note: At no point during this post do I say it is justified / injustified. I am merely:

Filed Under: But here is the real question: Just who IS Danielle Hoodhood @Onyx | I have totally not looked at the email titles, though! I swear!
You gotta admit, compared to what we are calling him, a "T-Rex" is actually a pretty cool insult.
It's not yet a raptor, so you gotta keep trying harder!

According to this topic, @PJH is the only one who has 5 negative likes.
He doesn't get the badge for liking badly but for being the poor soul who has been used to abuse the system!
Filed Under: Gotta value that, too
I saw that bumping, too.
Is there a limit on edits for OPs?
By another person editing, do you mean an admin / mod / leader editing the title?
Filed Under: I would never abuse that, obviously
I vote for a new badge, that @PJH only gets because he fufilled the "5-likes" requirement in a negative fashion!
Filed Under: Glitchworld here we come
So, since most people on this board are total wusses who could not stand to any edits they do to their posts (or they have not discovered the option to show revisions of edits in the preferences) I always get confused on edited posts.
I sometimes do want to see the unedited version because people seemingly replied to them without quoting or something like that.
It took me a while that a colored pencil does in fact NOT mean you can see the edit history but means the edit was recent (or something).
Could any admin just edit the CSS to do something to pencils that are in fact clickable?
Filed Under: Might seem useless to many but I still want it :D | Might also be more of a meta than a bug but screw the rules I have no clue! | Leaders could move this into the correct category...

I just turn off wireless through my handy-dandy switch that never fails me, even though @blakeyrat thinks it is useless.
I gotta admit, that I also always found them weird. Your workflow seems to have accepted them perfectly fine but I never had much reason to use the "turn wireless of"-function and the option of pressing two buttons (Fn + Whatever button it is (currently F12 for my laptop) ) seemed to be good enough.
Not sure why you guys need to attack each other that much over it, though. If you like your switch, then more power to you. I do think that these switches are less and less common, though
Filed Under: Leave it to me to disagree to another post of somebody who openly agreed with me
How do you guys do that? I never changed a setting like that on my laptop and it sure as hell knows when I plug in a network-cable it's supposed to use it.
Using the wireless as default seems backwards to me. "Hey, there is this signal that could be instable and this cable that will probably either deliver a stable connection OR will be disconnected (faulty cables don't count :D). Why would any system choose the first as default?
Filed Under: everything is a phone and phones do things wireless!
I hate WYSIWYG Editors. As an intern job, I once had to convert the company-wiki to a new, shiny one that offered ONLY a WYSIWYG-editor. And the "converter"-scripts were laughable at best.
To discourse an editor like that would make sense, since it overwrites everything a browser does anyway but that does not change my opinion that those editors need to die a firey death.
Filed Under: Didn't vote because "WYSIWYG must die" is not an option
Oh, I had a samsung Laptop that had the same problem (among many others.... but it still works until it overheats and the glue that holds the monitor together starts to liquify....)
I currently have one of these Satellite-Laptops, too. Was a real hassle to get it to update to 8.1. Would probably almost make a good sidebar story... but I never wrote any of those and am too scared to actually try.
On Topic:
As @loopback0 said, it can be changed easily once you google-search for ~2 seconds.
I also never understood why laptop manufactures suddenly started to value the function-keys over the f-keys (yeah, be pedantic and tell me what the f stands for... you know what I mean anyway!) It's been a trend I have been observing on multiple laptops so far. I blame the "everything has to be casual"-idea.
Filed Under: Also everything is a phone.... but that doesn't really apply here so it goes in the Filed Under-Section | I have also not seen a laptop without the ability to disable your mousepad per button-press in the last 7 years or more.... @dhromed ignores me quite well, according to himself. He doesn't have a button so why should you? (unless I mention him then it shows up on his speechbubble :D )
You and @blakeyrat keep trolling and feeding each other like there was no tomorrow. I don't even know what to say to this except: There is little need for others to cencor you if you cencor yourself or something. (and I mean both and I mean that you frankly can choose to not read the other persons posts. Period).
As a matter of fact, if your browser hovers over the post of the other person for a few seconds, according to Discourse you have done your duty as a discourse-reader. It doesn't force you to read the subject inside the post.
TL;DR:
If you guys really have a problem with each other, at least have fun with it and let me have fun with it, too. (not really what the rest of the post says at all)
Won't you two just get a room already

As a person who is not a steam-dev I wonder: what does flagging as inappropriate have as a consequence? Is there a system like in Youtube where some poor steam-worker goes over your content, says to himself "boy, another day where somebody abused a system" and marks your stuff as normal again? Or are there actual consequences?

And here I was, thinking we were being very meta in discussing the "meta" discourse in the meta-boards. Clearly I was wrong.
Filed Under: My hand autocorrects meta to "meat" faster than I can stop it!
Meta means discussion of the discussion itself instead of the actual topic of the discussion. Why do we need a meta category? Meta is where communities come together to decide who they are and what they are about. …
I think they made that joke themselves unknowingly

The other system at a different point in time sends the notifications.

Here is where the LIKES-thread went wrong.
If anybody just randomly liked random posts on random threads then the post in question will not be intended for like-baiting and therefore a legit contestant for the badge. And if everybody did this, everybody would over time get the badge... but NOOOO, you guys keep wasting your likes in that thread.
