Look, its a WWII poster, by Stanley Ekman, commissioned by the National Committee for Conservation of Man-Power in War Industries (I think?). A lot of old posters look plain insane today:

Today's posters aren't single-panel comics, so there's not a whole lot of material there to find ridiculous. At least, here in the Neths.
