OT A Confused User

This is totally off coding topic but was so funny I want to share. A user failed to backup her C drive and lost a Y-T-D cost file. Our IIT person recommended that she store her files on the server, which is backed up every night.
She was informed that the backup tapes are retained for a full month. Her comment was.... "but there's a whole year's worth of data in that file!"

Obviously your server doesn't contain enough chronobytes to store a whole year of time.
But what seems missing here is that you imply that your company only keeps critical accounting data on backup for a month.

Assuming that older accounting tables are not deleted and continue to be backed up, that shouldn't be a major concern.
