That thread was a single post with a link
The link was to http://www.malevole.com/mv/misc/killerquiz/ and it seems to still work
-
@sockpuppet7 That reisers an interesting question.
-
I'm utterly confused where the thread went after so many migrations. Despite my most diligent of searching, it seems to have evaporated. Perhaps it was moved?
Anyways, off to resurrect a pointless quiz....

Ah!...
TDWTF s, but it doesn't fail.

No need to resurrect that, it’s still being made.
-
@Gurth I don't feel like it's the same without Richard though.

@Gurth linked in Re: TDWTF Museum to:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rhg2r
b00rhg2r is a terrible name for a programme.
-
@Zecc and this is how we know that “pretty URLs” is in fact actual bollocks for SEO.

IMHO it depends a lot on the guest co-host. Some were quite good, but that was mostly the comedians and radio presenters who are used to saying things off the cuff. The actors tended to much less good at that.
-
@Gurth there is this, but also I think the fact that the show was Richard’s idea and original pitch to the production company gave it a slight air of something that it’s now lacking.
-
@Arantor True, though at least it hasn’t done a QI so far.
-
@Gurth QI stopped being funny after about series C because you knew all the jokes they were going to do, and dunking on Alan just started to feel mean-spirited rather than good natured.
-
@Arantor I found it funny enough until the presenter swap — since then, despite wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt, I noticed I just wasn’t laughing as much as I was before. Eventually, I stopped bothering to watch entirely.
-
@Gurth Sandi has her moments, just not on that show. Her sense of humour is far more dry wit that does not lend itself to the more “zany” I guess you could call it style that QI relies on.
