What's up with this thread?

What's up with the @Gomesz785 thread about Google ad policy? The preview looks like it's some recipe for creamy garlic something, but when I click the topic, I get an internal error page. (No, there's nothing wrong with my internet connection; the problem's on your end. Bad
! Bad error message!) I suppose the topic has been deleted, but it doesn't get marked as read, and stays in Unread and Recent as unread topics, which is annoying.

I'm also getting the same error. Refreshing the page (once is enough) then loads the topic properly.

If I follow the link while creating a new tab, it works correctly.
If I don't create a new tab and just redirect there, I see the "you internet is bad" error message.

@boomzilla So it looks like something to do with SPA navigation. It seems to work when loading it fresh (i.e. new tab, or refreshing when it's there and showing the error), but doesn't work when accessing it normally

In an incognito window (and not logged in) it works from the list. I disabled uBlock Origin...works...re-enabled...still works.
Weird.

I suspect it's adblockers.
For me if I disable vivalidis' adblock and ublock for this site I can navigate to it fine. When I re-enable them I get an error.

If I disable remote fonts I can't see the icons at the top although the site is still functional with javascript off. Much suprisement.

So, we can't report if a ad was shitty.
I can't decide whether our ad-blocks(without ublock?) being dumb af and disabling it or these cheeky mfs doing something to display the internet error.

I don't think anyone is annoyed with you over this. The denizens of this forum used to take great pleasure in breaking the forum software, in a somewhat meta kind of way.

Well, there was the tag cloud attacks and various other dumbfuckery. I think it was brought offline a few times by accident from posts as well.
