@Benjamin-Hall I think one of the problems may be that Joseph Smith himself practiced polygamy, which is not exactly the best when the founder of the religion practiced something that is condemned by it. So does that mean that Joseph Smith and Brigham Young should be posthumously excommunicated for not following their own religion?
But I have also learnt that there are many types of LDS, just like regular Christianity, depending on which parts of scripture and doctrines you believe in. While I have a lot of problems with the Book of Mormon (which would be either or material depending on grade of civility from either party) it's not possible to apply that to everyone who uses the book, as there are a lot of "splinter cells" who does something different from the main LDS church.

...And now I have "Latter Day Saints" and "Sexy Beasts" associated in my mind.

@Zecc Joseph Gordon-Levitt certainly is.

Also, how did the first person get the coronavirus if you can only get if from someone else?
Did you tell her it's
turtlesbats all the way down?I couldn't get her to buy that story. And what about chicken pox
no one has adequately explained that to me (though I probably stopped asking before I become an adult.)?

Pretty sure South Park did a great job explaining that.

@Benjamin-Hall are you allowed birth control?
That's a choice between the couple and the Lord, so yes. We're encouraged to have large families though. Not required, but encouraged.
One of my kids (they went to Catholic school from K-12) said that birth control is a sin. I think he was in 8th grade at the time.
My reaction was to say having a child you are not ready for is a bigger sin and has obvious consequences.
I'm not sure if that is Catholic doctrine or not, I'm a very bad Catholic (as I am mostly agnostic).
Catholicism is, last I heard, in a complicated place. At the same time, they state:
- No contraceptives
- NFP is perfectly acceptable
NFP is an "enhanced rhythm method" that, performed correctly, is about as effective as condoms (~95%). So you're not allowed to take some actions to prevent children, but you're allowed to take other actions to prevent children. It feels like they're threading a needle of "you're allowed to have normal sex like a normal couple, which can coincidentally not produce children due to deliberate timing, but you're not allowed to prevent a 'normal' pregnancy."

@PotatoEngineer Do they know there are other kinds of sex?
(answers would have to go in the Garage)

@Tsaukpaetra Well, fucking the ass is a universal solution that works regardless of gender! So if your date is of unknown equipment down there, go for the ass and you're safe.

According to statistics, not so much.
Catholicism is, last I heard, in a complicated place.
I misread that as "constipated" for a moment.

One of my favorite songs.
