Did SSRS take away the ability to do this?

I swear I used to be able to do this before but the report wizard in VS2019 completely skips any sort of layout/styling that used to show stuff like this. I know there were some hoops to jump through on toggling visibility but I'm not even sure what to search to find how to do this anymore if it's still possible.

@Zenith I found an MSDN article on how to do what I think I want to do but fuck are these instructions god-awful. It's like when you want to flash the ROM on an Android device but it's missing every third step, missing every tenth step, and written by an alien taught English by a dog.

@Zenith Now I remember why I hate SSRS so much. Something so trivial if you're writing out a dataset yourself is fucking impossible with "powerful" tools like SSRS.

@Zenith I managed to somehow get a row grouping column up over the column headers (make a new column, make a new row, set the column to a value, merge the rows into one, merge the columns into one, delete the new column) but now those headers won't repeat except for when the row grouping changes. I can't even imagine the nightmare this would be if I needed to toggle visibility for any sort of grouping.

Yeah I never used the wizard. But if you're trying to do that with the default table grid thing you're going to have a bad time.

So SSRS has half a dozen properties to repeat columns, and which works or doesn't depends on the phase of the moon, but I'm off base.
Edit: I think it's funny that every time a tool can't do what I need, some little Jeff comes up wagging his finger with another round of "you don't need..."
