Windows update fuckery 2004 and 20H2 edition.

So ever since I got my new laptop a few weeks ago, I've been having issues updating. At first it was saying something about the thunderbird drivers being problematic and now I'm getting a whole different error.
How the fuck did this pass QA. Am I trying to install some half baked early release version or are these issues with the stable release?
Oh and there's like 3 of them trying to install and all of them are failing with the same error.

How the fuck did this pass QA.
There are a number of false assumptions in that sentence:
That QA exists
That something has to pass QA to be released
That anyone gives a fuck

QA does exist, it's just the end user now. Why do you think they do staggered rollouts for these updates?

@dangeRuss very appropriate, considering the original comic was also about drunk coders working on Windows

And it's mine, as long as I don't plug in that HP Omen mouse...
-
@Steve_The_Cynic Have you ever wondered whether the mouse's model name was an omen?
-
@acrow "HP". Of course.

Hmm. (Looks at the bottom of the mouse.) "Reactor". Well, the system certainly reacted to it...
Sorry.
