What the fuck?!?

I assume OS corruption somehow, reinstall worked.
It also somehow managed to regenerate Mac addresses on all interfaces, which means new IP address. Yay?

@Tsaukpaetra found this https://www.xigmanas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11004
if OS corruption then my first guess is a device driver got corrupted and caused the same issue that's in that link

@Tsaukpaetra The line just above that — “
could not allocate interrupt
” — looks like the immediate cause.

Very interesting. I wonder if this is also tied to why every interface suddenly got a new MAC address....
But it's using Intel nics, not Realtek....
Computers. So much fun...
I just wish it didn't happen to my shiny new router computer...

@Tsaukpaetra doesn't matter what NICs it's using, they still have drivers, it's not even necessarily the NIC

Goddammit it did it again. I'm not updating, didn't change anything other than importing configuration on a fresh install. Now a day later after reboot it's fucked again.
At least I have a known-good config, but could it just.... Not so this?

Aha! During my explorations about the weird keyboard freeze, I found a tunable that disables using ACPI for power management. Apparently this disables ACPI whatsoever, which is a No No, I guess?
Removed that and ...

I'm never sure if @Tsaukpaetra is talking about himself or a computer.
