Time element not allowed in HTML
-
I thought it would be neat for to provide a machine-readable timestamp in the
!uptime
command, but NodeBB doesn't seem to like thetime
element.https://what.thedailywtf.com/topic/14084/error_bot-in-the-works/1132

While we're at it, the
type
field in<ol>
isn't supported either.

I will gladly submit a PR, provided there's a simple way for me to build and test my changes locally- oh, who the fuck am I kidding?

I mean if https://github.com/BenLubar/nodebb-plugin-htmlcleaner/blob/master/cleaner/config.go compiles it's either going to work or you've done something very sneaky
-
@ben_lubar Jesus is that file one huge statement? My eyes...
-
Whitelisting <meter> would allow for some creative uses as well. I don't think it's a security hazard.
-
And it's not like it will be any more annoying than say
<pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><code><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre><pre>
Edit: unfucking thread for @pie_flavor's phone.

That's basically what my

There's your problem.
I blame Ben for getting me to try it.
-
@Tsaukpaetra I blame you for not writing it in Rust.

You haven't been as compelling, apparently.

@Tsaukpaetra I literally wrote part of it for you.

Okay reading.
What the fuck, it's like BASIC tried to fuck Python while having an affair with Javascript.

@Tsaukpaetra I know, right? The best of everything and the worst of nothing. https://doc.rust-lang.org/book

I'm not convinced.
-
@Tsaukpaetra What convinced you about Go?

I could mostly read it with my current syntax parsing rules.
Edit: And I'm still not convinced, to be fair. This is effectively a toy application, I'm not moving literally anything else to Golang.
-
@Tsaukpaetra that's all? What's confusing about Rust syntax?
