Windows Automated Deployment and VAMT
-
I am working on building my first Windows 10 Enterprise installer image. I already have a VAMT system to cache activations (i.e., the proxy scenario) and I am wondering if there is any way to automate that away, like how I have my installs connect to the domain automatically.
Any ideas?

Preface: I know almost nothing about VAMT except what I'm skimming through on MSDN.
Assuming you're using a common key, you should be able to pre-fill that per usual, and set a post-install script to
slmgr /atp
in the confirmation ID thing from a pool of the same.Automating this could be as simple as a bunch of flat files with IDs that you rename and move around to indicate status, or as complicated as Windows Activation itself.
I'm assuming you're trying to prep an install image for offline installation, and if memory serves offline domain joining requires separate tickets for each machine, so when delving those out you can also spit out the confirmation ID as well in the same place.
