When you return to a page on mobile where you haven't completed a post yet, it'll remember the post content and bring up the composer, but the composer will have forgotten who you're replying to. So if that reply gets posted it gets posted as a reply to the thread, not to any particular person.

The composer is definitely weird that way. It's even worse if you have multiple of them up, if memory serves.
