It looks like NodeBB only handles list indices up to 9 digits long. That's not even full int32!

@anotherusername HTML doesn't specify integer range limits. More likely it's the browser using 32 bit integers for the index:

(+new Array(11).join(1)).toString(16)
"423a35c7" // using 10 digits for the index, it still fits in 32 bits
(+new Array(12).join(1)).toString(16)
"2964619c7" // using 11 digits, it overflows

Much like putting caps on CSS z-index or whatnot.
