It was the proper name of a specific, individual horse that happened to have wings, much like Sleipnir is a specific, individual horse that happened to have extra legs.
Move titles that never made it to production: The Equine Centipede

But people have written fics about it!

@Tsaukpaetra if only it was possible to downvote a post more than once.

I've heard you (or someone like you) say that more than once...
Edit: Here, have some fluff to make up for your knowledge! (You didn't click those links, did you?)

Forget downvoting. Erasing from memory: I did not want to be aware this was a thing.

Why's everyone acting like they've never seen South Park?
-
@Gąska I've never seen South Park.

One might look for classical renditions of pegasi, since they've got a similar skeletal setup as dragons do. I seem to recall pegasi originate with the ancient Greeks, and I recall reading they had centaurs set up quite reasonably.
Try GIS for "pegasus greek vase" or "pegasus greek coin" to get several images (not all antique though, but at first glance in the first few results most are). I tried thinking of other forms of Greek art that could have made it through the times, the only other one I thought of was "sculpture" but the results are (I think) all modern. I don't remember ever seeing a statue (or fragment of) of Pegasus (not that I am an expert anyway...).
Most depictions look like this, with wings strategically overlapping the shoulders to hide details, so they seem attached at the same point as the leg (not higher, like many modern renditions do -- technically given horse anatomy this means they're attached somewhere between the elbow and the shoulder...), but without much detail:
Or sometimes like that (downright awful, looks like some kind of belt on which wings are attached!):
When they have enough details, coins are very similar to the first one:
(I am actually surprised at how detailed some of those antique coins are, but I'm probably skewed by medieval coins that are often very ugly and rough)
Looks like antique artists didn't really know where to put those wings, nor how the skeleton below would work?
-
@remi Seems like it. It also makes me think the centre of mass is too far behind the wing anchor points.

- Draw a giant pterosaur
- Lose the fuzz and add extra spikes.
- Make it breathe fire.

Good thing it wasn't a password I use often...

@Tsaukpaetra Wait, is that saying that there's been a data breach on the game? Or that the password you use for this has been identified as compromised from a data breach elsewhere and you reused it here?

I don't know, it's so confusing!
But yes, this is technically known as "Insecure password 2007 simple" on my files.
-
@Tsaukpaetra I strongly suspect it's the latter, for a few reasons.
- The dungeonepic.com login was for an incredibly early alpha version of the game that isn't running anymore. The database for it isn't even around to breach.
- The databases have always used password security practices.
- The game was pretty obscure and nowhere near big enough to present a worthwhile target for hackers.

It looks like a browser feature that Firefox has and maybe some other browser too where it automatically checks whether your saved passwords appear in data breaches. So, the latter.
In other news, a few days ago someone tried to reset my Runescape password. It happened after I registered at a few private servers a couple months ago with the same email (but different passwords). Joke's on them - my character is deleted for inactivity!
In other news, my 800 total level character has been deleted for inactivity

@Gąska I've got someone who repeatedly tryed to reset my microsoft account. I keep deleting the confirmation emails on my other account, and so far they've not succeeded. Seems they gave up, haven't tried in a while.

There are now three reviews, all negative. Sad.

Fair. This is to reflect on the participants vs. the act itself, mind.

Once again I am utterly distracted by trying to figure out the limits of what I can say about this nearly-complete project under NDA.
-
Alright, well, it's CAp, I can say that with measured confidence. And yeah, I guess that's it. Beyond it being severely ambitious, and still so far having risen to its goal.
Some concern if arithmetic is overturned. Also some dependence on other lemmae.
I only hope that I do not fully transubstantiate until after deployment. During would be showing off, and before would add unacceptable risk.
