@Mason_Wheeler I love the "Lowe's"
-
@Mason_Wheeler that must've been a very multicultural graveyard.
-
@Mason_Wheeler also, I wonder what made the same publisher publish the same comic in two different artstyles. Some weird form of A/B testing? An internal competition? Are there more comics like that?
-
@Gąska It does seem very unlikely that two different artists would happen to hit on exactly the same (non-time-sensitive) joke on the same day by coincidence.
A bunch of webcomics did a similar thing for April Fools a few years ago, basically the same comic in all their respective art styles, but that was coordinated.
e: Apparently newspaper comics did the same thing decades before and a couple times since then

Especially when both have the same publisher.
Based on the Wikipedia article you linked, I believe it's just a regular publicity stunt meant to attract memetic attention.

Based on my extremely limited yet non-zero boating experience, I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually doing that.
-
@Gąska Based on mine, mooring lines and shit. Always keep a decent sized rope on the vessel, keep it dry and in good condition.
And wait; Elon is going to re-invent mooring lines for Teslas soon

Why is the guy shouting at them looking back, so he does not see where the ship's going either?
-
@Bulb it's easier to parallel park in reverse.

Can I have the "bleeding out of all orifices" feature in my Squadrons game?
(Seriously, Keo has been asking for a rocket up the backside for ages now.)

Current xkcd:
I'd like to see more than just the top three. Surely Birchard can't have finished too far out of the money.

Inspired by recent forum events, I somehow managed to find this old comic:

Dilbert already knew how to tele-commute in the 1990ies:

A surprisingly common occurrence.
