Fair point but aesthetics are not a top priority for a disk driver - it gets the job done and it is not something you want to look at anyway :)

The "fast boot" can be easily disabled and then you can mount Windows partitions from Linux. I do it all the time.
Yes, it's not too difficult to work around that bug. You just have to know to do it.

once you know of it, but if you want to get people to find it a good website does wonders.

I was not running Windows when writing the post, I decided it is not worth rebooting 2 times to produce it.
